Ok so I started eating a lot more very recently and both yesterday and today I had to force my shakes down and after I drink my shakes I feel bloated like a pregnant cow. (incase you wanted to know the shakes had 6 eggs, 1-3 tsb olive oil, 3 scoops of whey/casin and some fiber powder in them.)

Anywho my question is since I'm starting to eat more calories is this normal? Will it pass?

I think increasing your calories at around 500/day for 1-2 weeks and then again increasing it by 500/day for the next 1-2 weeks helps your body get used to it...

Normally I maintain on ~3000 calories and anytime I get 3500+ I get bloat. I have to get my body used to it slowly. Another way to reduce bloat is calorie intake per hour coupled with front loading your calories and taking in lots after you train. Personally I try and get 1/3 of daily calories in my first 2 meals and 1/3 in the 2 meals that follow training. You'll have better insulin sensitivity and lots of carbs post training will really make your muscles feel full. This will also really fire up your metabolism letting you burn fat more effectively.

The types of food you eat will also affect your bloat. Learn to choose foods your body digests easily. This is an individual matter because everyone's metabolism is unique.

Its just you! haha... my guts are way more "active" when I use a weight gainer. As for just protein, just find one that your body can agree with.

You'll get used to it johnny. It took me a awhile to get my stomach to cooperate and deal with the extra food. The best thing to do though is spread meals when you can. I seperate my meals by two hours starting around 9-10 a.m. This will make it a lot easier.

This may be an interesting read for you:

Perhaps with the extra food, you are not making enough stomach acid. Do what Fugly suggests and ramp it up over a few weeks, perhaps things will adjust. Otherwise HCL tablets are your friend. The good thing is if you have to take HCL tablets, usually it is only for a little while and your body starts producing more naturally.
