bigger pecs?

okay today i was working out, and i notice my right pec is bigger than my left pec but not by alot, only slightly but its noticable, so do i jsut workout my left till its equal size or wut??

Just work on improving your lift numbers, for pecs thats obviously Bench press.

When you bench 315 deep, your pecs will be fine.

LOL. Maybe you lifted 5lb more on one side. That's a huge difference for you.

You want bigger pecs? Do more pec work. Try dips. Full weight (you body), start out low and increase reps every workout.

Guys, I've replaced flat benches with incline benches. Good idea? I seem to get lower pec heavy when i do normal flats.

p.s i know this is thread hijacking but do you call or text a girl after you've gotten her number? (for the first date)

alright thanks also what excercises workouts out ur upper pecs?? my lower part is fine. well besides the uneveness lol i feel like my chest is retarded lol

There are no upper pecs for you. When you gain some mass, then you'll have upper pecs.

Do some dumbell presses at an angle if you're feeling adventurous. Instead of straight up working your shoulders, do it at more of an angle so you'll hit the chest a little.

Adjust the angle to whatever is comfortable, and keep your feet planted on the ground always!

rule #1. FORM

2 sets flat bench bar 10 reps then 7 reps
2 sets incline bench bar 10 reps then 7 reps
2 sets flat bench dumbell 10 reps then 7 reps
2 sets incline bench dumbell 10 reps then 7 reps

and please.. don't let people talking about benching astronomical amounts of weigh discourage you. the ultimate goals (for me) are feeling good, looking good, being healthy, and being confident. you don't need to be a bloated moose to achieve those ends.

Also, a lot of people have been saying do normal benches, your pecs will fill out. I really don't find this to be true. Lots of flat benching will develop your pecs to be a lot more rounded. (Not that it's a bad thing) I find incline benches, incline dbell presses build the clavicle area a lot more (collarbone area) making you look a lot more solid up top.

I heard it can just be genetics. your dominate side is usually stronger than the other.

Dominant, and no it doesn't work like that. The body likes balance. A more likely explanation is that the OP is so skinny that even small changes in muscle size are noticeable.

I called her, no answer so i left a text with what i wanted to call about. No answer and it's been 10+ hours. Either she's not interested or she hasn't seen the message. Can i go ahead and make other plans for that day?


To the OP, Also, it's form > weight. increasing your numbers is good and will increase your strength but it won't be nearly as good as building your weights up slowly through proper form. Remember to bring that bar really low (I like to either touch/almost touch my upper pec area) to really build the muscle up there.

Yess it can work like that. My lat on the left side has always been smaller and seemingly less developed than the other side. Part of this could be genetics but part of it is defnitely from the right side of my body being dominant (used more often or prioritized etc).

Sometimes my right arm/shoulder will swell up a little when I am on the phone too long so I have been making a habit out of holding the phone with the left hand (no funny jokes guys hehe), and using speaker phone when I can.
