How many of you have a 32" or larger LCD HDTV in your room? Do chicks dig it or does it not even matter?

I barely have time to watch TV, so this would only be for when I have girls over to watch movies. I figure a big TV could be cool, especially with a nice wall mount. Anyone have any experience with this?

I don't really have any eye-grabbing things in my room, and I need to get a TV anyway. I was thinking of going with a 32" LG LCD or Phillips.

What else could I put in my room to give that awe effect? Basically I'm trying to "pimp" my room.

Thanks for any ideas.

man, once a chick is in your room you don't need to impress her anymore. The coolest thing i have is an old mac i had, which i turned into a fish tank.

Could be good to watch some XXL porn with a chick?

Listen to yourself. You're about to pay $5000 for sex.

Generally, when a girl is in my room, watching TV is the last thought on my mind. All you need is a clean room. A bed isn't even necessary - the carpet's just as good!

I want at least a 25" Monitor/TV.. (I have a 19 ATM).

Why, so I can lie on my bed and not have to zoom every internet page I'm on...and watch a movie. Chicks, fvck 'em. (but then, I have ZERO Social life at the moment...fvcking finances)

What's "XXL porn"? Yeah, my computer monitor is 18.5, so it's not too bad, but still not big enough.

Sweet, a stripper pole is a cool idea.

LOL, I'm not gedda.

Such things like fat people going doggy, fat people giving head ot fat people, fat people makng out, fat people trying to roll over but can't are just a few of the topics descripted furtheron.

I actually started to reply to this, then had to hit the back button to verify the date it was written. I can understand a $5000 price for a 32" LCD TV... back in 1999. At the current time, you can pick up not only a 32" LCD, but a 32" High-Def LCD TV (name-brand mind you) for around $1000. This makes it a reasonable price to pay, especially when you factor in the advent of high-def DVD and blue-ray disks, as well as gaming platforms that take advantage of HD optics to increase their realism. Currently, $5000 will buy you a roundway trip to Amsterdam, lodging for a week, hookers 3 times a day for a week, and gourmet meals cooked every day. Guaranteed - if you don't believe me, invite me along and I'll show you the ropes. ;)

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. If you're going to put down that much money on a television, bear in mind the fact that you're paying for just that - a television. If you don't plan on watching it that much, odds are good that it's not going to be worth it. Sure, there might be a girl or two that sees it and thinks that it's cool, but it's not exactly a deal-breaker. Odds are good that if she's already in your place checking things out she won't walk out when she finds that you're using a normal flat-screen TV instead of a plasma/LCD massive television. Your best bet is to wait until you find yourself in need of a large TV, then price shop until you find a brand, quality, and price you agree with.

When it comes to expensive things, buy them for yourself. Not because other people like them (like the 20k Scion TC I bought two days ago). :)
