Many of you know I work full-time in I.T. and am a part-time police officer. Previously I was a cybercrime investigator for a city police department, and a patrol officer, and in I.T. before. I've got a good opportunity out in Idaho to go back into Cyber full time. It would be a pay cut but not a killer one. I miss that side of it everyday. I.T. is really becoming a drag and I am really loosing my liking for the whole game. It's out of control. Where I work now in I.T. is the Sociopathic Business Model, people get so nasty about their technology and the management is a joke. Google "sociopathic business model" and you will understand clearly what its like. I've been written up twice in the past year for speaking up about the work environment and how management treats us. I could just sh|t up and take it but, well, that's just not gonna happen and I will eventually spill my guts again and probably get fired.. My part-time gig as a cop is actually a stress relief. I love everything about it. Being a cop is in my blood. I.T. used to be but the blood has rotted like a tomato.

Anyone here know much about Idaho? Would a redneck hillbilly from Illinois like me like Idaho?

Anyone ever taken a pay cut to switch careers to something more enjoyable?

Long time ago I ask myself ; would a jibaro from Puerto Rico like me like Texas? The answer was (and still) yes. Doesn't matter where you go , what matters is how you behave. How you treat people.
