Hey wassup guys

I was wondering if its realistic to strive to attain a tricep strength that is equal to your bicep strength?

What im asking is, should triceps be able to handle the same amount of weight as biceps?

Im really just talking about free weights here... no machines or anything

OR! are biceps destined to be stronger than triceps naturally??

I personally thought it was the other way around, and your triceps can handle much heavier weight...

Triceps are much bigger in relation. It's possible to have stronger biceps, but utterly retarded (meaning you blast your bis all day and never touch your triceps). Your arms will also look funny. Most guys with big arms have big arms because of their triceps, even though their bi's look huge. It's an illusion.

Triceps make up 2/3 of your upper arm muscle. You can do the math on which is stronger.

Say you can BB curl 100 lbs, you should be able to do a BB tricep extension (or a pressdown) with at least that weight.
