This girl I've had a thing for but wasn't show 100% mutual interest in me, just found out she's been dating someone for little over a month. Why does she still call to hang out? Should I just next her or try taking her from the bf?

How do you intend to next her? It is rather practical to next a girl when you are interested in a girl/woman and she has not interest in you whatsoever. In your case, she is ( or seems) interested in you but the only thing that is preventing you from escalating further is you realized she has a boyfriend. What nice guy? Why don't you call her boyfriend and tell him his girlfriend is hitting on you and that he should make sure she stops hitting on you?

From all the posts about her it doesn't seem like she's ever going to give you what you want but just try to keep forcing this friends issue which you don't want.

Several problems with your approach to this situation.
One, you are focusing on the girl instead of yourself.
Now, I know that sounds bad until you listen to and understand the phrase "YOU ARE THE PRIZE". I had some gentlemen on this site say that to me several years ago and it made a huge change for me.
What this means is don't call her, be too busy to hang out, and get out there to meet other women. You will find something funny happen, she will either stop calling and you'll forget about her, or (and this is actually more likely,) she'll become intrigued and get interested. OH AND YOU'LL FIND OTHER WOMEN ATTRACTED TO YOU ALSO!
When you do talk to her, talk about interesting stuff and be assertive. She's dating someone else? Great. Make your (new) commanding, interesting and just down right sexual aura something she craves. In a subtle way, communicate that your "hanging" out could end with you just exiting out in to your far more interesting life, or leaving with another girl you just met or doing this girl in the car. Either way, make her think this is all your choice. Excitement in women's minds builds from this. Also, let hints slip that you are dating other girls. This stuff is easy, I've done it.
Looks count too. Change something about your appearence. Good rule of thumb is "If it's something a rock star would do(and I mean a REAL OVER THE TOP ROCK STAR) do it". Create your myth. Leave her intrigued. Make her think you are moving on. She will be attracted. I can almost promise you.

cNfny, this chick isn't being good TO you. You may want to get with her, but from everything she's done, she's just using you for validation. You should want to be with girls who are good TO you, and treat YOU well. You're being a challenge but I don't think she's going to let it go further. I think it may just be a game to her, and if it is, this means, she's not too concerned with YOUR feelings. If you're going to be pining over a girl, at least have it be towards someone who genuinely cares about you.
