Hello guys,

I was wondering if y'all ever improved your visions by not doing something at all or by doing this and that... If so, could you share some experiences?

I heard carrots are good for your eyes, and i've been eating them quite a while now but don't know what has improved my vision.

BTW, I don't use glasses.

Well you would have to eat a LOT of carrots to improve eyesight, but it is Vitamin A is important in maintenance of the cornea, helps proper perception of light at the retina and a vitamin A deficiency can cause lag in recovery time after a flash of light at night. So make sure you are getting the right amount of it. Other foods high in Beta Carotene and Vitamin A are whole eggs, whole milk and Liver. If you don't eat much of these foods, consider supplementation.

As for improving eyesight, it can be done. Check out this site which tells a little about the Bates method, which is probably the most common.

I went to the eye Dr the other day and he said my eyes have actually gotten better. HE had no explanation, but said "it just happens sometimes".

I got to thinking. I never needed glasses until I worked on a PC all day. A year ago, I was laid off for 6 months and couldn't afford the internet, so no PC. I've had this job for a little over a year.

I think not being on a PC for those 6 months did it.

Shortly after I got my first computer 15 years ago, I got my first pair of glasses. Computers are hard work for the eyes. A few years ago, I was holding menus and business cards at arm's length and considering getting either longer arms or bifocals.
Today, however, I wear no glasses. "

I would have opted for the arms... I've always dug that monkey look!

insurence dosnt cover the eye surgery, appently its still 'experimental' which is total bs otherwise it wouldnt be done to the public, its just another way for insurance companies to save cash
