There's this woman that is relatively attractive and jovial which is the nature of her personality, but something inside me tells me she's phony in nature.

She's only popular via Facebook pretty much with an accumulation of friends that carry over from MySpace. Even dates back to High School. She's married now, but still gets tons of responses and comments from inane posts.

I know her in real life, and if she ever gets out of the house, everyone is always talking to her, both male and female. Her husband has a hard time getting her attention in a public place because people are always wanting to talk to her.

She has to broadcast her "Thank yous" and gratitude via post than individually. She doesn't even respond to individual comments made to her FB page, UNLESS she made the initial post herself. She's in her mid 40s and is a simple store clerk. Her husband works a mediocre job with the government. Something in the traffic dept.

Yes, she's a barbie look-alike, not in shape at all, but she was handed out the "hot" gene regardless.

Yes, this proves you can be attractive to people, physically, and not be in shape at all. I think her Triple C's help some. She's curvy. Platinum blonde barbie.

So does this seem to prove the more attractive you are, the more people feel sorry for you or just be popular in general?

I think there's some statistics going around that the more attractive you are, the more likely you'll get hired, promoted, etc.

Being "Easy to look at" is a foot in the door, but has no staying power.

Well, this is an easy answered question: Yes, the better looking you are, the easier it is for you. Why? If you're a woman that looks good, that means you look fertile AKA "I will give you healthy, strong, beautiful babies" and that is what we, as men, want, biologically speaking. So yes, that woman is more likely to be popular and easier to be hired because subconsciously, all the men are hoping to **** her at some point and have a baby with her that's also strong and beautiful.

Statistics have shown that beautiful, handsome and good looking people have it easier in life all around.

People who are pleasant to the eye tend to have an advantage in life.

She's in her 40s, so fertility is not really a factor.

Forgot about make up? A woman can look 30 if she knows all the tricks to make up. It is the perceived quality, not the real quality, that lures most men anyways. Most men would not make the difference between a woman's whose natural size is 4 and a woman whose natural size is 2,5/3 but she lifted that breast up with push-up. Most men get this rush of blood going from their heads to their penis whenever they see a beautiful female, but there is TOO much blood leaving the head LOL

Looks are extolled far too much though.
I've been thinking about back around 2013 when that guy who had bit parts in movies kissed Bar Rafaeli for that GoDaddy ad. The online news sources called him 'lucky' and the guy himself talked about how it was a means of one-upping bullies who bully 'nerds' in school. Haha. Y'know, that last part really says something about the social power that hot women can muster as well as being desirable sexually. All such beta thinking. I'd wouldn't work for a firm that produces such lies about manhood.

I would not call the attention they get "love". How much a person is truly appreciated always comes down to their actions.

Attractive people just get a head start, but they can be outrun if they don't keep up. It's easier for them initially get contact, but if they don't behave well they will lose them. Like my mother, she looked absolutely stunning in her 20's, but she's not a nice person in the long run. Now because she was not nice to life then life in turn was not nice to her, she's pretty ugly now and it is a result of her careless personality.

The right gene can start a snowball effect that begins with your teacher giving you special attention at the kindergarden and continues to you getting a 6 digit salary few decades later.

A pretty face in your teen can have an impact in your self esteem and access to resources wheter is pvssy at highschool or a promotion in your adulthood.

Thats basically the opposite of a kid who grows slower than the others and get bullied from his peers and neglected from his teachers.

No need for me to talk you about height for a male cause we talked about it enough.
Do you believe the average heigh is higher among wall street brokers or mc donald clerks, ask youself if there is a connection.

I know what you mean. There was always that one overly developed girl in school, starting around middle school, where she's get a lot of attention from both genders.

For women, a pretty girl attracts other of the same, a gaggle of cuties.

Anyways, I recall someone telling me how about of teen-aged boys would always mill about this one girls house until she got home. She was developed for a girl her age, compared to the other woman...even in the face (high cheek bones, that made her look 25 in stead of 16) She had beauty pageant looks, as opposed to "cute".

She wasn't even a cheer leader either.

But yeah, this woman I know is the only woman I know in my circles, that gets massive amount of attention. She's not one to seek attention either, at least not too much. Like if her pet is dying or some other crisis is happening, She gets hundreds of comments sending their condolences. She gets so many remarks online, that she has no time to address each individual, but addresses them as a group.

She isn't even a public figure.

Tell me about it. I wish the enforced school system in western countries would stop lying to children about how life works. Your boss probably doesn't care that you are earning to pay for your gym membership or plastic surgery. You could say good looks out-fox any grade or qualification or resume skill that you work your butt off to get. Polite society can eat my ass.

Being good looking helped me get jobs, but not keep them. Bosses eventually get jealous.

It's good for attracting, but not much else.

I was going to 2nd that. Also if you are "better" or as good looking as the female, white knights and ****blockers will tend to try to tear you down. The female can also "hate" you for looking better than her and be tearing you down for that.
