I shake my head at this stuff because while it may not affect you or I directly getting laid, it does affect the businesses we work for and the men and women we have to deal with in our professional lives. Check out this dude throwing up blue pill all over Linkedin with his comment today:

"My younger sister is beginning college soon, but I won't encourage her to get a LinkedIn account.

This platform isn't safe for her.

Countless women have expressed to me that one of the big reasons they refuse to engage and stay active on LinkedIn is because of harassment.

Sexual harassment.

These women then proceeded to share with me the unsolicited messages they receive from some men on LinkedIn... "Good morning beautiful, how are you?" "You look amazing and I love your smile, please keep in touch." "Thank you for connecting with me, your profile picture is gorgeous, how can I help you?"

Society has a problem.

No woman should be dealing with that type of engagement/requests. That's not what this platform is for. When I ask these women why don't they report..they either say they don't know how, they just ignore the messages or even worse... They deal with so many uncomfortable requests that they just choose to delete the app. Incredibly saddening.

These women recommend I don't tell my sister about this platform.

I listen."

What a faggot. God forbid you'd ever have to work with this go or rely on him for anything business related.

Say that it's a "business platform" to the built-in, raging biological drive in every heterosexual male and see what it tells you in return. Women say that men hitting on them "unsolicited" is bothersome or creepy, but the thing is where or how else are the men gonna hit on them when they find them attractive?

I guess they would rather be a man and have to do all the work themselves instead of suffering all this "sexual harassment". Well, they can always go undercover as a male and report back on the experience.

Trouble is, he's white knighting about beta orbiters. The blind trying to lead the blind.

Look at the comments he's quoting: "Good morning beautiful, how are you?" "You look amazing and I love your smile, please keep in touch." "Thank you for connecting with me, your profile picture is gorgeous, how can I help you?"

It comes across as creepy harassment, because the approach it is fcking creepy. "Good morning beautiful, You look amazing, your profile picture is gorgeous". Seriously?? I feel like I want to be sick. Do these kinds of sappy guys still exist?? I'm imagining fat, middle managers with sweat problems, thinking this kind of approach will entice their teenage assistants in to 'going for a drink'. Even though they'll never grow the balls required to actually invite them for a drink.

The messages lack purpose, direction and originality.

how can I help you?
What. The. Actual. Fck.

Most women have no place on LinkedIn really. Don't take them seriously by default. Girls coming out of college with have 500+ followers and no experience. One girl who is 21 was whining about being "bullied" and felt a need to remind everyone of her whole resume. I put her in her place amidst 1000 people coddling her.

He's got a point though. That type of thing is inappropriate on LinkedIn. No woman expect that kind of attention there, because that's not why they're there. Any guy sending such messages are in the wrong place. Doing it on Facebook is fine, but women don't use LinkedIn to find dates so it's kinda pointless to do it there.

All the approaches he mentions are also awkward as fuck.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

LinkedIn has become too much like Facebook now, and dudes treat it as such. So many guys on there try to connect with cute girls in the hopes they'll be able to offer them something under the guise of benevolence, it's pretty pathetic to see.

Anyway, I more agree with the guy who wrote that piece than what the OP is trying to convey. He's not beta for saying that, what's beta is the type of losers who would cold-message girls on a professional networking platform.

It's a largely pointless platform anyway. Most I see is people posting supposedly motivational quotes about hard work (ironically, when they should be doing actual work), or sharing posts, riding the coat tails of others who actually are doing real work.

It's never a mistake to approach a woman anywhere. The mistakes are made when the approach is all wrong (as above), or the context is not accommodated - i.e at least TRY to feign some professional interest in the short term, incite some 'collaboration', rather than just bowling in, all guns blazing with ridiculous shallow compliments like some kind of horny teenager.

All my days, not sure I've seen anything so cringe-worthy.
