Such things are currently going for 3-6x the prices that they were bringing back in November, 2012. THAT will not continue,but you CAN'T LOSE if you get some of the above at near "used-to-be" prices. Like say, 10% more than they brought before watisname got re-elected.

No it's not a good investment. Much better investment is a pair of plane tickets to Russia, land in Russia, house in Russia, and a job in Russia. Take the money you have now and convert it into real estate in Russia.
There are other countries where freedom still exists, like Iran and Venezuela. But in Iran you have Islamic laws and uncertainty with war, and in Venezuela there is a regime take over going on, I think.
Russia is the only country with freedom right now and punch big enough to defend it.
