I've been using this Nivea for men facial cleanser and they recommend use twice a day, I usually use it at night when i take a shower before going to bed, but sometimes it seems like its either not working or I get more pimples. Now granted I don't have a problem I have maybe 2 - 5 pimples on my face when it seems bad, but it seems like this shouldn't happen if I'm using a product that claims to prevent this. I was wondering what you guys have found to be the best facial products to use.

Back it up an astringent that has salicylic acid in it and finish with a light moisturizer to keep your skin from drying out; Nivea makes one for men to go along with their facial cleanser. If you already have dry skin you only need to do this once a day.

i loooked it up on google a while ago, it said 'Zihr' was highly rated by men, and used by professional athletes, and celebrities. It listed tons of known people, i so i fiured it couldnt be some endorsement. The Result, it aalso says to use twice a day but i only do it before bed. I cant complain, never had more than 1-2 zits at a time, and mostly none, could just be i have good genetics in that area, but i do recieve comments on how clear my skin is

One trick I've learned is that moisturizer made for women is just as good as the stuff marketed to men, but you can get 4 times the amount of it for the same price as the guy stuff.

I have really good skin (or at least that's the one compliment I get from every girl I meet) and nothing that I use is "for men." I use a cleanser (cetaphil, I think it's called) and I moisturize with some sort of Oil of Olay. You feel kind of gay buying it, but its just as good as the guy stuff, and you get a lot more of it.

Dry or oily skin, you need to moisturize. What happens is when you use an astringent or a face wash it washes all the oil off of your skin when it cleans it. You still need to use a face wash because it cleans out the pores and takes all the dirt and nastiness off your face. So your face is super dry and tight afterwards. If you don't moisturize after you wash your face, it produces a whole bunch of oil to re-moisturize your skin. So now you have a bunch of excess oil being produced, which can lead to more pimples. No bueno. But if you moisturize, you won't produce all this extra oil. Bueno!
