There are huge inter-individual variations between people's metabolisms. WHat works for me won't work for you...so, in there's really no such thing as the "best one". The best one is the one that works the best for you.

I personally don't take creatine unless its a part of pre-WO supplements. Lotsa good pre-WO supplements out there, like Armageddon (by chemstar), NO3 Overload (CMI), NO explode (BSN), Superpump 250, etc.

Hmmm...been a while since I've used that stuff. I think I used the stuff by ProLab once. Seemed to go ok, mixed up decent enough.

I've been through this topic before, but i'll say it again.

The BEST as far as purity and Monohydrate goes, is Creapure creatine. Prolab uses it, Universal, ON, and many other companies use their creatine.
As far as all of the others, their main thing is how they enter the body and are utilized. If you look at creatine AKG, and then pick up an exercise phys book and look at the Krebs cycle, you'll notice Alpha Keto Glutarate.
The Krebs cycle is a series of reactions which occurs in the mitochondria and results in the formation of ATP. So Creatine AKG is creatine bonded with AKG.

Right now on the market there are probably 6-7 different forms. All being something bonded with creatine for better transport.

Which one should you take? That's still in the air, and there is no solid answer. I use creatine AKG right now. I have also used Creapure before when that's all there was.

Not true anymore with the statement on what works for you wont work for me on creatine. The reason this used to be the case was because creatine (plain stuff) wasn't getting transported in the body for some. Now with the new forms out, pretty much no one has a problem, so it should work for all. How much will it work is another topic. But it works, plain and simple.

Good point Omen, I've never taken creatine consistently enough to feel a difference...like I said I just take it when I use pre-WO stuff. I don't know too much about how the chemical modifications to creatine help with transport, etc, as well the true efficacy of the other stuff in many of the formulas that are supposed to potentiate the insulin response.

I'm guessing I'm one of those guys who needs A LOT to feel a significant difference!
