Ok first off, im talking moderately priced stuff... no $100 diesels.

I dont have access to an A&F around here so I ordered some of their barstar jeans.... i put them on and they absolutely scream "gay" IMO. The thighs are too tight, the size of the flare is good but since the thighs are so tight they have a really girly bellbottom look esp. from the back... I looked behind me in a mirror and they look so funny.
They also make the chugger jeans, anyone know the difference between those and the barstars?

Ive tried buying straight leg jeans but all the ones ive seen look way too baggy, i just can't find middle ground. If the barstars were a bit wider from the knee up they would be great.

The closest thing ive found to good jeans are the loose boot made by Bullhead.
They don't have the metrosexual look and are nice and loose but not overly "gangsta" baggy.

So what other brands should I look at? Express? What about the A&F chuggers?

Barstars? Where'd you find those? They aren't sold by A&F anymore, same with chuggers - they aren't even sold in the store; if you're lucky you might find some in the stockroom. What's current now is the Saranac Boot... Barstar Flares are called that because they have a flare to them - chuggers are a boot cut, which means they fall straight all the way down your leg. Saranac's do the same.

I tend to wear Gap and Ben Sherman jeans. Gap, in my opinion, make the best cheap jeans. They fit well and the denim is good quality. Ben Sherman is good too - I get them in London so the exchange rate sucks and I can't remember who sells them in the US. You'd probably pay $70 or $80 for a pretty high quality pair of jeans with Ben Sherman.

Personally, if I was still in the US, I'd get a pair of Diesel. When you're talking about pants that will last three or four years, $120 isn't that much to pay. I wish I could get two full years out of a pair of Gap jeans.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

damn D, 148 bucks (USD lol) for jeans, you must be a high roller.

Almost all Guess jeans are bootcuts now, and they're all awesome, huge selection.
