Regarding looks/appearance, I suspect one can be too "correct". For instance, in the dance community I participate there is this guy that apparently gyms and also tans. In one sense he got "good" looks but he doesn't strike me as someone women would find attractive, even though he on paper got all the boxes ticked.

I got a draught and I suspect I got the same problem. I've done a lot of cardio and gym so I got a low fat percentage (particular in the face) and look ok, I dress ok, but I suspect my fault is being too conformant, too "right". Not mama boy, but too conformant and correct, boring.

Personally I don't want to be a try hard though. I'm not gonna adopt some look just to impress people.

Thoughts on this?

To add, I think this is very contextual. For instance, I suspect some American environments or in general differs from for instance Sweden, or a dance community. The countries are too different.

Also, I wouldn't focus too much on that a particular look is wrong, at most Tomassi's advice of "have A look", and that frame overpowers everything. Choice of T-shirt won't be a determining factor.

I was in a flannel last night with a backwards hat and a sweatshirt tied around my waste. I don’t think anyone did better in the short time I worked that room. IT’s attitude imo. Also I opened a set by telling them that at least one benefit of the men’s team getting knocked out is now they don’t have to give half their $$ to the women’s which then set me up
