Bars, drinks, getting horny, getting laid comprise a good strategy to hit it off with a chick you are already acquainted with.

No cute boyfriend/girlfriend stuff like doing fun things together? (Save it for later, right?)

The casual stuff like coffee etc. seems to be "beta", eh? The b!tch just wants a safe date where you can make her feel all fuzzy without escalating the game, whereas a bit tipsy is where you want her to be (while putting the move on).

Going out for drinks loosens people up, I say go for it.
Thats always the best choice, but there are better places if you actually like this girl and want a relationship.

Which places would you suggest?

I think the most important criteria is to go somewhere within walking distance of your place or her place.

Try to go some place where you can talk to her without yelling into her ear. Of course these types of places can range anywhere from a classy lounge with a cover or a shitty dive with super cheap drinks. Really depends on the girl. I tend to take girls to bars by their places that are definitely blue collar types (bordering on dive) but not trashy. Sometimes sports bars like Old Chicago's.

Places with some fun stuff like darts, pool, hoops, etc can break up just sitting there talking with some girl. I know a couple places that have Rock Band nights (or karaoke) and they can be fun with the right girl.

I know summer is over but if you're in a warm climate maybe a place with a patio or rooftop where you can get away from the band/dj/crowd.
