Mayweather UD, 8 rounds to 4.

Carlos grabs a few rounds when Mayweather chooses to soak up the pressure, but Mayweather pot shots his way to victory, taking the majority of rounds.

Will be interesting to see how strong Carlos looks in there, his definately a LOT bigger guy than Floyd. Carlos only way of winning is smothering Mayweather, wrasstling him to suck his energy, and getting physical and rough on the inside, trying to frustrate Mayweather into going to war with him. But this will not be enough, and Mayweather will take a decision here. This one is going the distance.

Baldomir by TKO or KO. Mark it down...
How did you come to that conclusion? Since Carlos is a HUGE puncher and Mayweather has been stopped plenty of times before! Nothing points in that direction whatsoever!

Was even more one sided than I thought. Floyd sure is the most skilled fighter of this generation. Tactical genius!

After the fight....

"I think he will get in the ring with me after tonight," he said. "If he wants to, he knows how to reach me. If De La Hoya really wants to fight me, I'll tax that [backside], too. Oscar said he wants to leave fighting the best."

Any thoughts on that?

Oscar most recently said he is "not feeling" the fight with Mayweather, and that it will not be happening. He offered Mayweather twice as little as his last offer (that Mayweather already rejected). Oscar is hoping to bring Tito out of retirement for a rematch.

No idea why, since a Mayweather win would be MUCH bigger for his legacy, and would generate a HUGE payday, the Tito fight does not make sense. I think it has more to do with Oscar not wanting to give Mayweather a huge payday, as Mayweather has no respect and especially none for his dad (who Oscar is very close too).

Looks like Mayweather V Mosley is more likely to happen at this point. But in boxing, things change daily!

Didn't Mayweathers father actually train De Lahoya? I think I've heard that a few times. That fight would be pretty prolific for both fighters. Oh well I guess there can't be that much soap drama in the ring.

A mosely fight would be good too just wouldn't have as much intreste...but intrest none the less. As long as it's here in vegas again, I really don't care.

Update: Okay my local news just showed Mayweather after the fight and he says He wants him and this is his Last fight. In addition he pretty much called Delahoya out. Something to the affect of Deylahoya was babied through his career and got his fighters "hand piceked" for him, while he (mayweather) has beaten everyone they've put in front of him. It went on for a while but it was all to that tune.

haha, most say Mayweather has been babied through his career also. In my opinion, neither DLH or Mayweather have.

Yeah, Mayweather wants the DLH fight (it would be as big payday as he has got over his entire career combined), but DLH doesnt want the fight anymore. Yeah, Floyd Sr trained DLH for his last several outings (since the Gatti V DLH fight I think it was) and Floyd Sr doesnt want Oscar to fight his son. Thats probably a LARGE reason it isnt happening.

haha, you lucky bast*rd, living in Vegas! I wouldnt care who he fought either if I could watch them all live!

Latest:

Surprise, surprise. Just two days after telling Boxingtalk.com that he was "turned off" and "not feeling" a showdown with undefeated pound for pound Picasso Floyd Mayweather Jr, Oscar De La Hoya once again contacted Boxingtalk to fill us in on the offer he made to Floyd Mayweather last night. According to the Golden Boy if Mayweather was being offered $1 before he is now being offer 95 cents, which sounds a lot better than the 50 cents he was talking about yesterday, but there is a catch. If Mayweather wants to make the biggest fight in boxing, he has one week to accept Oscar's offer and he can't fight in February as he plans to. Full exclusive interview to follow shortly, so stay tuned.
