Awkward Situation

'm seeing this woman who btw is married and has a kid. we are friends and sometimes we get together. She likes me, finds me interesting, she likes the sex and the way i talk to her. yes she's married but her husband never found out despite having some suspicions.

Later tonight i woke up and sent her a text message with a smiley kiss and immediately she calls me (she's usually sleeping at this time, has her kid and husband at home) and i dont answer the phone.

i found it weird she calling me me back this late at night and after getting the text message on her phone. called 4 times in a row totally not her and sent me a text message saying: what's wrong, pick up the phone, it's me i'm alone.
my gut feeling told me not to answer thinking it was her husband. did i do right?

i really dont want to ruin the friendship with her. things are good the way they are

1) Not a good idea to mess around with married women

2) If you aren't going to follow #1 then never write things down, send e-mail text messages etc because you'll leave a trail and if the husband goes cuckoo or is nuts he'll be coming after you.

I've heard of emoticons. I just use them very, very rarely, especially when I text women, which is also very, very rare.

I'd say keep going, because if she stops cheating with you, she'll cheat with someone else. Just don't make it so easy for you two to get caught, damn it.
