This is kinda sad. I am a bit discouraged. Went out to sarge. No number. Talked to girls I was attracted to. There was this one girl. Works in a bank. I spit some game to her. She seemed interested. We were vibing. When I told her I wanted to take her out...she said I was going to get her in trouble. Then the rest of the night she was talking to some dudes in gold chains. This is by all means a high quality girl. But I think the attractiveness and bad boy image trumps everything. I guess it sends the message "I am no top of the food chain."

Here I am a CPA and this girl picks a thug over me. I think Attractiveness trumps everything.

actually charisma is the biggest thing (this is distinct from 'game' as it is natural)

and personality (yes! but by 'personality' i dont mean this weird concept of 'niceness' most of the people on here seem to think they have, i mean, you know an actual personality, funny, exciting, interesting, sparky)

anyway to put this in sports terms, i think of the characteristics like appearance, charisma, personality as 'offensive' traits, they are the ones that are proactive, and these things score really well, regardless of 'game'

i think of 'game' as a 'defensive' trait, one that stops you from messing up, thinking too much, being too needy, fixating on one particular girl too much. this kind of trait doesn't get you girls, BUT...its stops you losing them when you appeared to be in a winning position.

a better term for 'game' might be 'composure'. yes if you are very attractive and charismatic you will get girls regardless of this, but you will lose plenty too before you close, simply through lack of composure

a charismatic attractive person might lose a game 28-35 when it seemed to be going to so well, because they lacked the composure to see thru their position. a person with composure might win the same game 7-3 even tho they seemed to have less tools to begin with

of course, composure usually comes with the other traits, because it comes from a habit of being in a successful position and not having the self-doubt that you will fluff things

its being yourself, and being natural that gets you into winning positions, and being composed that stops you then messing it up.

Attractiveness is high on a woman's list. But don't take it personally. It doesn't mean you are unattractive. It simply means that you aren't really her type. While you have the brains and career, she might of been looking for the gold chain guy who looks like a bad boy.

Sometimes you think you are getting somewhere with a chick but you aren't. She might really like to talk. She might think you are a decent guy, but not necessarily one she will date or take home.

I get the same thing. But I am telling you from experience that women vary a lot. I can have ten women bored with me and/or reject me and then find the 11th to be fascinated and hanging on my every word.

Just because you aren't attractive to ONE girl doesn't mean you aren't attractive to others. Even high status men don't attract every girl. The difference between them and you? They don't care. They get out there and find someone else.

The most important thing you can do is not take any of this personality. You call it "game" right? Treat it like one.

I won't lie. Being unattractive is a disadvantage. A pretty significant one too.
But eh...what are you gonna do? Complain, or find a way around it?

I feel you man. I know what you're talking about. But this is not the right attitude to have.

If you don't succeed....try again. That's what I've been doing.

When she says you're going to get her into trouble, it sounds like she probably already has a boyfriend, or at least someone else she is going out with. Possibly one of the guys with the gold chains.

Don't think she's a classy girl just because she works in a bank. As I understand it, being a bank teller is actually a pretty low paying job.

Hey, you're a CPA, you're a high value guy. Lift your head up high and start acting like it. The right girl will realize this. Face it, it takes a pretty low quality girl to want to be with a thug over a guy who has his life together.
Don't get discouraged over one incident, nobody bats 1.000.

Quite frankly it sounds like you got all needy on her or something and blew it. Good game wins women over despite you not being their type. That's the damn point, well, sorta. I also like the above explaination that there's also the time & place when game just keeps you from fraking up when you've got her on the hook, so to speak.
