Been talking with this chick who lives a few hours away for a couple months now. She is always telling me how much she wants to see me, blah blah blah. So I end up actually making plans to go spend the weekend with her this past weekend. She's all about it, says she's going to take me around and show me all the places, blah blah blah. Told her if I'm driving to see her, she is paying for everything, she agrees.

So Thursday comes along and she texts me "good morning, babe can't wait to see you!", etc...so I text her back Thursday afternoon "Yeah, it will be fun. Let me know where I need to go." Said she has to make sure she gets her shifts off for this weekend and will text me all the details once she gets that taken care of. So I'm like hmmm...OK I let that one go.

About an hour later she texts me to let her know when I'm free. So I text her bout 45 minutes later that I'm free...she says something about her Boss is leaving and will text me the address once he does. So now I'm like OK here come the games. So I pass out and don't get her text around 11:30pm asking if I'm awake still...

Next morning I'm basically like "I'm not into the games, so I think I'll just make other plans." Then she sends some long 5 page text apologizing and saying she is trying to get someone to take a shift and is having issues(this after repeatedly telling me she can always switch without issues). So she asks if she can have an hour or two to let me know because someone is supposed to be letting her know if they will take he shift...I'm like fine, but that's my limit.

She texts me back saying she found someone to take the shift and she wants me to come still. So I'm like "Address?" No reply...

BITG, I don’t know if you picked up on this, but your last two threads epitomizes social thinking as a whole, and why so many men fail in transcending social constructs to become GREAT men.

In this thread, you committed to what any “normal” man would, with no results. Yet, no opposition toward your actions or contrarians littering the thread like a Christmas tree. In your last thread, you were a superstar transcending all social constructs known to man, and you received a flurry of disparaging remarks about your “wrongful” conduct. The irony!

When a man goes against the grain, against social constructs, he is met with disparagement, criticism, and loathe—thus ostracized and essentially punished. Yet, when he conforms to the status quo, he is met with compassion, kindness, and understanding—thus encouraged to repeat such conduct in the future. Looking deeper, though, which of the two acts achieved YOUR desired result: The orthodox or unorthodox approach?

Contraposition: It is not what BITG did (in the previous thread), it was his acts of retaliation that were juvenile and immoral.

My response is simple: How do you know? If your entire thought process is a byproduct of, and molded by, current social constructs, how do you genuinely know what is “juvenile” and “immoral”?

Let’s take murder, for example. 99.9% of society would consider the act of murder atrocious. But what if we had unequivocal, undeniable evidence that Earth was the “hell,” and that following our “death,” we were sent to a transcendental realm of bliss, heaven if you will, a place where “evil,” “pain,” and “suffering” could not exist. Would murder, then, be an act of barbarity or kindness to some? Sure, motivation comes into play, but what would the overall sentiment of murder be in such context?

Point?

Before denigrating one’s acts based on our skewed belief system and social conditioning, we should, instead, transcend our conditioned thought process, encourage (not discourage) these social warriors, and embrace other modus operandi that, although may feel misguided, could very well be the stepping stones necessary to catalyze our evolvement to new heights. We don't have to agree with everything, but be cognizant that overt dissension and aspersion may be causing more disservice to men than we had intended.

I'm going to be honest. I only read the first few lines of your post BECAUSE the first line told me everything I needed to know.

Why the F*CK would you waste time talking to a woman who lives HOURS away for MONTHS when there are plenty to sport f*ck locally?

That is an utter waste of time and shows how limited your local options are. Then you're suprised the b!tch is an attention wh0re? :crackup: :crackup:

If you're talking to a woman for MONTHS before you f*ck her.. then you have already lost the game. Women believe "love happens fast". If you don't get physical within one month of communication.. you are either her "friend" or her b!tch. Either way, you lose.

I think in this case the distance and effort I would had to have made to make this happen made it not worth it unless it was a slam dunk. It's one thing if you drive 15 minutes another if it's 3 hours.

Actually it's completely the opposite. If I had no local options I would have attempted this a long time ago. The options I have locally are the main reason it's been months with her. Plus it didn't hurt anything anyway, I just told the women I had texting me locally that I was planning to go out of town for the weekend but wasn't 100% sure and I'd let them know when I found out. Banged one Friday night and another one Saturday night. The third one was mad cause I kind of ditched her after the hotter one got back to me. And I don't necessarily agree...in the past I had a similar situation where we met up and fvcked 12-15 times over a 3 day period...my d!ck was so sore it hurt to piss for a week.

And you act like I'm having all day conversations for months...how long does it take to text someone a few times a week? Like 30 seconds? Yeah...tons of effort there.
