Come on man, grow up a little. After she said no to the first question, you should have dropped it and moved on to another topic. You should have found a way to flirt with her a little, get her interested, instead of badgering her about the party.

I couldn't agree more...DON'T EVER say sorry to a girl unless it's something really bad and forget about attention seeking little *****es...be polite say hello but don't hang out with them or listen to their **** and if they do things to get your attention either walk away or pay them no mind.

Well these days I usually just ignore those attention wh-ores, but I'll share with you what I did to one little wh-ore that used to play with me and use me in my AFC days... 
It only required a little DJ skills modified for attention wh-ores (not giving a f*ck about her, some heavy C&F, push & pull, switching from charm to challenge and repeat etc). After 14 days she almost admitted she wants me as a response to a C&F line. I just smiled, almost laughed you know what I mean. So at this time she knows that I know she wants me and that I probably don't want her. Next day when she started to talk to me, I just started to laugh. Maybe it was rude of me and wasn't at all DJ, but it's 3 months and she still is kind of shy around me and she has to meet me every day. It must feel really bad :crackup:
