I'm sure some you of guys have problems buying shirts. They fit fine in the shoulders but they are a freaking dress in the waist. I need some casual dress shirts for my new job and wondered where to find something that fits the bill and doesn't require a tailor.

Tailoring isn't that expensive. I know Mr. Big and Tall does tailoring on every shirt you buy. You can also get shirts altered at small tailoring shops.

It's a shame that shirts for people with normal stomachs are hard to find, but the business is just catering to it's customers.

Thank god I get free scrubs at the hospital! My shoulder girdle is around 52-54", chest is 44" and waist is 32". I've talked to a seamstress and she said that most dress shirts have about even athletic cut shirts have about a 6-8" difference between the chest and the waist. I have closer to a 12" difference, so I always get mine taken in.

Just buy 17" neck dress shirt and have a tailor take them in. It costs around 15-20/shirt here, but its well worth it because it fits so much better.

I know man! Or when you buy a jacket/pants combo and the pants are way too wide! And if you want "athletic cut" suits then you have to pay 200$ extra, ha.

I must admit I buy shirts that fit at the shoulder and ask my mom if she can narrow them at the waist... she's a real pro ;)

A&F and Hollister have some classic shirts that might fit the bill, they are pretty extreme muscle fit, gotta be getting down there around the mid section to wear them IMHO

It's hard man. I really like Express dress shirts, but I can barely fit into their XL, which is their biggest size. If I go to Macy's or whatever and get an XXL it's like a damn dress and too baggy around my waist.

Some brands make stretchy shirts, which are freaking awesome. I think Alfani does?
