I hear from a lot of people (and see, and believe me it's not always pretty:) ), that at a certain age (24 - 30) you suddenly start gaining weight more easily. Most people gain fat though and not muscle.

I'm 25 and up till the age of 24 I used to weight 64 kg. Now I'm about 70 at 5'11.

Anyone have similar experiences? Can I expect to make "easier" muscle/weight gain in the next 3 years? btw I used to be a skinny ass mofo, at 18 I was about 5'8 and 52 kg's so it seems I'm maturing much slower than most.

Opinions?

I'm sure habits come into play (eating and excercise), but I think your metabolism slows down somewhat as well?

I mean the extra 6 kg I gained was not from change of habit. Just a bit more gym. And I believe maturing as well.

I am also 25, over the past 2 years I have gained 30lbs of fat. Its funny I didnt change anything over those 2 years but my exercise habits, I stopped. But I dont think it was entirely from eating, I think my metabolism has slow down. Now, I am back working out, and getting more muscular, lean as the weeks go by.
