couple questions.
I read something in a joe weider book saying the human body can only process 30 grams of protein at a time. making no need to have a 50 g protein shake. any truth to this?

is there a certain amount of calories your body can process? I am 5'9 and 175 pounds and pretty cut. I try to eat at leats 4000 calories spread out as well as possible. but somedays I get behind and have a 1500 cal meal, is there any point to this?

is it true your body won't process your multi vitamin if you don't eat it with food? I would have figured the opposite, since you get nutrition from food your body would just pass the multi down the drain because it is busy prossesing nutrients from real food?

Not true at all.

It's an outdated myth.

There is no set number, it, like most things related to training and the human body, is subject to many variables. For example, size, training type and frequency, whether you are a natural or anabolic lifter, type of protein, etc...

Judging from what I've read the variance can go anywhere from 30-100g.. but I think for most natural lifters, particularly if you are a teenager, you should aim for about 50g a meal.

like I said, it all depends.

I'd say if you engage in weight training, heavy sports, etc... then you should probably be around 50g to be safe.

If you're a fat, sedentary pud.. then 30g is probably more than enough..
