After he was finally able to leave, she allegedly told her roommate that “Ben tried to have sex with me.” She also told this to her boyfriend who questioned her level of intoxication. It's easier and more convenient for schools to be part of the #metoo movement than be honest and honorable. You see, they know it's easier to support such an accusation, true or not, and make an example of that person than "deny" a woman of a #metoo allegation. PR wise, it'd be a bad move to deny #metoo. And they know rarely does someone fight back, have the money to do so, and more so actually win. It is simply how the justice system works in these cases.

Unfortunately for them, he has audio of the false accuser and hired a lawyer (assuming he or his family have money, in most cases these men don't).

I'd be keen to see how this unfolds, but being realistic it may not go anywhere and his reputation is sadly long gone. But I am glad he is fighting back and that is all we can do.

Lastly, I have to admit, even I had started recording the dates I went on. And especially recording if I knew we were gonna be alone in private where I knew some sexual escalation was gonna happen because of the fear that this would happen to me. I even took the extra security measure and met the girl at a public place where I knew she was gonna get ID'd and there were cameras. I have to admit it is a little paranoid, but I will rather be paranoid than have this happen to me. You would be climbing a living hell hill.
