i like this article. I dont envy my friends who get married. Marriage is the anti romance. Our generation is much to self serving and hedonistic to be able to tolerate the inane boredom of marriage.

Whatever, it was written for Playboy.

You could cherry pick equally relevant data to write a pro marriage article for "Jesus Weekly" or whatever.

Playboy is what it is (recent changes notwithstanding) because it understood its market and catered to it. Not for being a beacon of truth.

Getting married these days is one of the dumbest things a man can do.

"Here I am, let your female friends help you cut my nuts off and take my money and sanity, it's okay..." LOL

Porn sites have killed Playboy. They are selling out to our "modern" society. (pfft...) Surprised they don't put men in it too and make it a multi-gender rag. Along with other variants of gender.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Well I don't know about you, but when i was single, women were never entitled to romance from me. If they displayed good behavior and had good qualities that I appreciated in a woman, they were rewarded with romance. It's not an automatic guaranteed thing.

I will say though that currently, what a lot of people would consider to be romantic (giving flowers or candy 'just because', writing love notes, stuff like that) I don't really do anymore and neither does she. Perhaps that's a failing on my part, but I think it depends on the person you're with. When we have the opportunity to just spend time together with one another without kids, we just keep it simple with either lunch/dinner, going for a walk, sitting in the park. The last time we did that we went to a small park so I could help her a bit with learning how to get better at basic photography. Basic kino during that time seemed to be sufficient for both of us.
