Arms 2x/week ?

My arms don't seem to be keeping up with the rest of my body. I was thinking of increasing my arm workouts to 2x/week. I usually do arms on fridays (bicep, tricep, forearm).

Would it help if I started doing arms on Mondays (chest) as well?

Well I started doing arms 2x/week.

Apparently nobody here has tried this yet? I'll update in a few weeks and let you know how it's going.

I used to do arms 2x a week, but that was before I started full body workouts. If you're working out all of your body, you should be getting some tri work on chest day and some bi work on back day.

But hey, it's good to try new things.

GUYS, you can train a musclegroup 2x, even 3x a week. there have been countless studies on this to confirm that frequent, low volume progressive exercise can create more hypertrophy (expanding of muscle tissue) and put less stress on your central nervous system then a typical "train each muscle group once a week with several exercises" routine.

I Work out arms 3 times per week in a split routine.

Moday and Friday - Bi's

Wednesday Tri's.

Seems to work well for me - although I'm not doing a lot of sets - or exercises. But I lift heavy - 5 or 6 rep range.

Everybody is different, Period! My muscles respond better with more exercise. If i work each muscle group one time per week, i see little gains (and vice versa).

Keep a journal, try different workouts, and find out what your body responds best to.

i train my arms 3x week but not the same muscle of course.

monday - triceps
tuesday - biceps
thursday - deltoids

but of course i train it with a major body group such as back and biceps and chest and triceps
