That reminds me of morons I see at my gym!!! That was spot on!!! When I am at the gym it is all about the business! I even hate running in to people I know because I do not want to talk, I want to get it in!!!!

I remember one time this stranger was spotting an ex co worker on a decline bench. The co worker was getting bigger and juicing a bit too. So he thought he was stronger than he was and decided to tackle a weight heavier than usual. Needless to say the spotter (stranger) was letting him do his thing and the weight was dropped on the worker's neck.

I was like," OH $hit!!!!!!!!" He was not hurt other than his pride/ ego!

I don't get why the guy doing pulldowns is on there... because he's wearing gloves? Seems a bit of a unit doing some damn heavy pulldowns.

This video was ghey as fuk !!!! ANYONE who is serious about weightlifting is guilty of a few or more of those things. None of them are that big of a deal.

Just another pencil neck geek who gets nervous working out next to strong people.

What Jim outta do is get a membership at planet fitness "the judgement free zone" gym and start rocking purple t-shirts to match his feelings about working out in a gym.

Anyone else that agrees with him is a BIG GIANT PUSSEE !!!

As they say, if you are annoyed by this, and cannot see the humor, then you ARE *gym guy*

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

Planet Fitness is possibly the gayest gym ever.

I laughed when I watched that video, some of it would describe some of my behaviour, too. :D

I especially like the guys that are screaming as loud as they possibly can!!! That is what I hate the most!! I appreciate the grunt, but the screaming is just ridiculous!!

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I don't see anything wrong with listening to an Ipod while working out....
Music helps the workout, and some tracks can motivate you to push harder.

Things I am guilty of in this video:

-I wear gloves every once in a while
-On bench press I sometimes loudly drop the dumb bells (There's no way to really drop 110's "quietly")
-I listen to an iPod -- Seriously, have you tried working out without music? TERRIBLE.
-I do drink a protein shake after work out

Talk about nitpicking! Next he takes on "car guy", you know, "that guy who drives a car down the road, probably with the radio on, what the hell is that about?"

Jim Rome should worry less about what others are doing and more about what his pecs are not doing. That goes for everybody - those who devote their imagination and energy to looking for reasons to criticize others, accomplish little else. Turn that critical eye inward instead of outward, and you just might get somewhere.

What if their inward is more embarrassing and unsightly than the outward? Usually it's the ones with faults of their own or ugly personalities who are insulting others because they cannot bear to confront themselves.

That being said, I'm guilty of a few things on that list too. I used to wear gloves, and I still drop weights. Whatever. My gym doesn't allow chalk so I have to sneak it in, and the pencil-necks always stare as if I'm an alien. When I'm done with the bar, people put their hand on it and it comes away white, and they're always like "wtf get it off get it off".

I just shake my head and continue on.

Fun to lift with friends who are as devoted as you are.

I cringe when I see guys doing quarter squats with heavy weights and 10lb plates under their heels. I keep waiting for the loud snap of their lumbar spine cracking in two, and the bar falling on their skull. There have been a few injuries at my gym, thankfully I haven't been there when they happened though.

I don't like to listen to music at the gym. My favorite sound is plates clanking together.

I don't wear gloves. Gloves ruin your raw grip.

I don't sweat up your machine. Machines are less than a barbell and some plates.

I don't work out. I train with a purpose(to get c0ck strong).

If you spot me don't try to fvcking help me lift the weight up, unless it has failed towards me. If that happens feel free to pull that sh1t off of me. It isn't about getting the lift at that point. If you lift it for me then you shouldn't be saying, "its all you bro." You are there to spot me not to help me with forced reps.

I can understand the working in thing. If you are hitting some heavy declines you need to conserve yourself and not be busy with moving the plates for someone else. If someone wants to work in some dips or chins then you should let them.

I don't buy all the pre-wo and post-wo bullsh1t. I am doing just fine eating tons of food.

Nutrition bar? WTF is this? What real gym, a gym that has no cardio machines, no fvcking bosu balls, no fvcking preacher curl bench, would have a nutrition bar?
