are women more critical than men in job interview? I had job interview recently which a woman asked me lots of questions compare to the guy. I wonder if gender affects the outcome of interview.

I just had two interviews from the same company (and got the job :D ). The first woman was very critical and I really had to step it up a notch with her. The second woman was very laid back.

Gender probably has a very small role in interview styles, overshadowed by individual differences.

I was nervous on job interview. I think I screw it up near the end.

Women are emotional, not logical. If there is attraction, you can get away with anything. Looking back on my sales jobs, almost all of my sales were to women. When I do pretend court stuff at law school, I seem to be able to sell the women evaluators any crazy argument. Creating attraction with a woman is like when a woman flashes us her cleavage; both make the other gender instantly stupid. I love it. Attraction is the taking away of a woman's power and using those same forces against her. And the good part for us guys is that regardless of our physical looks, we can proactively create many of the qualities to which women are attracted, such as dressing well, eye contact, smiling, and most importantly, confidence, which will become greater with time as you begin to realize that you have instant power over 53% of the world's people.

Then you meet a fat, middle aged woman who knows you're hot stuff and that she will never EVER be able to have you. It will make her feel better about herself if she can 'reject' you first. Instant enemy really, being attractive can be a two-edged sword.
