During my costume dress ups with my model, I have tried to find feminine/masculine roles for us.

1) 1939 - Gone with the Wind - Vivien Leigh (aka Scarlett O'Hara) and Rhett Butler (aka Clark Gable, the man she said she thinks is the most handsome ever). Note he was 13 years her senior.

2,3) 1966 - Star Trek - Two Star Trek babes (she was NOT Uhura!) and William Shatner (James T. Kirk, and also as a red shirt guard). Note he about 16 years older than the babes on the show.

(upcoming)

4) 1951 - High Noon - Grace Kelly and Gary Cooper as Sheriff Wil Kane- note he was 28 years her senior.

5) 1977 - James Bond, The Spy Who Loved Me -
Bond babe Barbara Bach and Roger Moore as 007 - note he was 20 years her senior..

Notice a trend? The role models are all from films at least 40 years old. Only William Shatner is even still alive. A lot of the young guys here don't know who all of these guys even are.

Average age difference? about 20 years. Think catty 40+ women went up to Gary Cooper back then and said he looked old enough to be their dad?

Who will we do from more recent times? Brad and Angelina? He's not that masculine, and she's not that feminine. Though he is 12 years her senior. Al and Peg Bundy? Ellen and Ellen?
You have a point here.

How many times we are told women are "3 years mentally older than guys" especially in the teen years.

Now you agréé this or not.

If you look at "wedding" tendancies in Mid-East, Africa, Asia... often the husband is older and alot older (at least +5 years and up)
Why? Likely, status, manhood.... more mature a man, the stronger he is.

PS: of course you need young women in movies to attract guys :p... it sells

The old male movie stars were charismatic, larger than life characters with staying power. They were usually paired with a "flavor of the month" leading lady, whoever was young and pretty at the time.

Barbara Bach was Ringo Starr's wife. She was my favorite bond girl of all time. They are 49 and 29 there.

My girl has a remarkable ability to dramatically change her look and she will nail both of those roles (Grace Kelly and Barbara Bach). Hard to believe I found a girl who could do that. Two hand tailored suits were ordered for the occasions, one old fashioned style with the pinstrip vest for the Sheriff, one with the modern James Bond style suit. I'll even be getting a Walther PPK

And (for her) a Beretta 950 Jetfire (she can't keep it, models never get to keep the outfits).

Hollywood drives a lot of what happens in American culture. If you could change what Hollywood is producing, you could change American culture.

Today's young men are so feminized and needy that this old fart has no problem stealing their girlfriends just about anytime I see fit...;)

No more keyboard jockeying . Action is the place.
I believe something more chemical is happening too

Its not human to have guys 35+ pushing harder at the gym than guys in their 20s, even people like me with a crappy genetic at 32 push harder than virtually 90% of young guys except for eastern europeans which apparently belong to a stronger stock

I tried 4 different gyms in the last 2 yrs and in each of them you have older guys pushing harder and working more aggressively than most guys in their 20s
aha its all person dependent. However, I have to agree with your trend. When I go and train at commercial gyms, I see the 20 something year olds just banging out curls, texting between sets, unfocused, just flopp-ily moving throughout their workout with 0 intensity. I train with this dude who is pushing upper 40s, he is an animal. The guy has an old school mentality that just is not around anymore.

Chemically, you may be right. Think about it, people are eating processed trash, drinking Starbucks coffee day and night, not sleeping, not taking care of themselves, drinking large amounts of alcohol. Those all have negative effects on testosterone, cortisol, and your thyroid.

I swear, every time I go out somewhere, the amount of guys with beer guts is INSANE. And they are all sub 28 year olds. That dad-bod bs really got drilled into their heads.

The obesity epidemic was in full swing long before they started talking about dad bods. Like you said in your previous paragraphs, it's more about the processed food, lethargy, etc.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Yes.

Younger guys are less willing to be independent and assertive these days. Pressure from culture around them is making it challenging to be a traditional assertive and in needed cases an offensive man.

It's sad.

Yes completely. Me and my brother noticed it too. I remember my senior year how scared all the guys were of me, even most of the football players were and I'm not even a big guy. Of the small few (probably 1 in 250 guys) who actually WERE tough, those dudes just naturally took a liking towards me. Even the black kids in the school who were go for the stereotypes of being in gangs, selling drugs, talking wild smack and ****, they respected me even as the new kid, and my brother noticed the same thing too. It was just the vibe we gave off. We weren't gonna take crap from anyone. But the vast majority of kids would. Granted, I hated the fact that we moved so I had a huge chip on my shoulder everywhere I went so maybe people could tell that I was already more aggressive than most, but people are just a bunch of wimps nowadays.

I remember purposefully walking right in the middle of the hallway or even on the opposite side just so that I could get someone to bump my shoulder so that I could start something with them and get into a fight with them. I did that almost every single day, and not one person had the guts to bump into me the whole fvcking year. Damn pansies. I remember how I just wanted to beat the hell out of some of the kids just to make them tougher, just beat some manliness into them. I told my brother that at the time and he thought I was crazy, but a year later he is the same exact way and is like "yeah now I know why you felt that way". My father told us how recently there were a group of people driving around our city and the neighboring ones too and were breaking into a lot of cars and stealing the stuff inside of them. My brother and I immediately said how we literally WANT them to try and do that stuff to us just so that we could beat the **** out of them. I can guarantee that no kid in the area would ever think the same way as us because they're all a bunch of wimps. Dude, you are 100% right. People nowadays are a bunch of wimps and it's only getting worse. **** those pussies and **** their jealousy of men who are actually tough. Hate that ****.

I once suffered from a bout of obesity it was from job stress, I was never obese in my life, as I took on more responsibility at work the stress level rose I started eating unhealthy I was this way for a good 6 years. I'm and introverted person I don't like being around crowds, I'm a bit of on the shy side, lets put it this way I'm no chatty cathy.

I did a quick google search and wow I guess it is a concern men are becoming more feminine, it won't be happening me to any time soon. The way I dress hasn't changed in years I've always worn jeans no designer crap for me just basic Levi or Wranglers, I've always worn button up shirts plaid or solid colors in the summer its solid color T shirts no design or anything on them. I don't have manicured hands they are usually have oil stains and grime on them as I work as mechanic.

Summer time is good I always get the weak a** jealous guys try intimidate me because I'm eying up their girlfriends. Hey its not my fault your girl is with a feminized man and she's eying up a guy that acts like a man. I don't like fighting and I usually don't get into fights, the these weak ass guys back off when they realize I'm not a guy to mess with. The other day I was out for lunch a younger woman called me sir.

Go back earlier to the black and white photographic family portraits; all gravitas and dignity. Contrast that to the endless gushing of banal selfies, with their 'smiles flowing' [a Miltonic reference] to nobody in particular. It's all rather sad actually.... people feeling the need to show how happy they are. Like a plague or conspiracy of happiness or something.

I agree, however, the dad bod is not helping with the obesity epidemic. Now guys think it is "okay" to be in that kind of shape.

Probably cause you sound fūcking crazy. Why are you posting this nonsense like you're suppose to get props for it? You sound like an idiot.

but a year later he is the same exact way
Both of yall bat**** crazy. Unnecessary aggression is NOT masculinity. You're no different from the pansies you talk about because you can't control your emotions either.
