Are cult leaders just the "alpha of the alphas" in PUA?

It seems that every story of a cultist involves the cult leader being able to totally manipulate a bunch of women into being plated up in a hard harem - with the gynocracy calling it a "sex cult" simply because the cult leader has a lot of sex with them. Isn't this just the cult leader being extraordinarily talented in using PUA to get him his poontang harem? And along that line of thinking, shouldn't men desiring to become PUA experts strive to be, in essence, like a cult leader?

It would be except that most of these cult leaders exact punishment for disobedience.

Forcing your cult members to blow you under threat of being killed and buried in the desert isn't quite a PUA tactic.

And most normal people don't join cults, people that join cults are seriously messed up.

he manipulate everyone already when they started to follow him, after that you really think it would difficult for him to start some sort of harem? hell some of these people would not only be happy but depending on how he build his cult would be a blessing of his on his wife daughter.

Most cult leaders have charismatic personalities that have a very dark side. You think of people like Ted Bundy.

This actually goes with any principle in life, whether it is a gang, Socialist/Communist revolution, the mafia, etc... it's always great and easy and sweet in the beginning then there is hell to pay afterwards when you want to leave or want it back the way it was when it starts going south.

PUA concepts is about inducing women into your world by your charm, charismatic personality, or those traits that initially woo people in if the OP is making a case about that. Not the darker sides of it after the fact.

These people, if you can call them that, are power hungry 24/7 and take advantage of people even when there’s no reason to do so.
Most of them never end up in jail. These types rule the world whether you’re aware of it or not. The high functioning ones end up doing very well in business and politics. Same thing with cults. Although I would think the ones that end up as cult leaders do so because they’re too noticeably eccentric to make it in the aforementioned arenas. The dynamic of the “alpha” of the group certainly applies to cult leaders, but to an extreme degree - an insatiable need to dominate others.

Thats why you hear about mass suicides in cults. The “leader” would rather his followers kill themselves than risk losing their unconditional obedience and admiration.

Cult leaders use extreme social engineering and manipulation tactics in order to "brainwash" people.
They stick to a fictional story that only they believe, and then convince others to believe in it too.
They typically prey upon the weak minded and gullible. There's always a religious element in every cult.
I believe the way they hook people in is by being generous and giving in the very beginning. That's how they earn your trust. Once they earn your trust, then the psychological tactics start to begin.

I think one of the most fascinating cults to read about is Heaven's Gate.
I personally believe the cult leader in that group was absolutely psycho.

Pua was absolutely cult like and blue pill guys are extremely easy targets. Some of the pua guys made absolute fortunes off of those unfortunate men, and most of the men probably didn't make very much progress. Personally I think it was very immoral to profit off of those guys. Advice on women and how to get /keep/ screen for them should be free because the more men that understand the reality and these concepts, internalize it, over time it will increase the quality and integrity of women. Boys in public school should have to go to gender dynamics classes like they have to go to sex Ed. Then when his guys want to settle down, and I know a lot of you hardcore players get lonely after awhile, but your trust is tanked because of you experiences, could actually have something to work with. Sharing information is the only way to fix the western world.
