Are Cougars Turning The Tables?

I've been reading articles in Google and watching youtube videos on "Cougars" and most of you probably won't agree or have your own opinions on them but to me these women are pretty pathetic. They've lived their lives searching for "Mr. Right" or their "Mr. Big/ Daddy Warbucks to make their peers jealous and eventually when their pipe dream comes crashing down they try to "re-invent" the inevitable and dress and act like they're in their twenties again. There are alot I see around the local lounges/ bars in my area and a few that are always posted in the same spot talking to younger men. Now I don't blame them totally for liking younger guys who seem like they have more energy and something to "offer" them because guy's are always trying to score younger women. I just see these women as delusional older ones who are going to perpetually be in a dreamland and state of denial of how their life "should be".

With that said though, do any of you feel with the popularity of "non game playing" cougars and more on the rise that they might actually help younger/older guys have more success with younger women in a way? If more guys are going towards older women because they are tired of the nonsense with these younger twits might these women actually be turning the tables on the younger ones? And do you think any of them (younger ones) will eventually wise up to more and more guys not willing to deal with their childishness and seeking out older women?

I can only speculate but I think they would give more confidence to younger guys, especially when younger guys see loads of girls their age going for older guys. One of my friends lost his virginity at 17 to a 30 yr old, and he's good with the ladies and just generally comes across as a confident guy. But that's only one example I know of, I don't know many people who have been with older women yet.

I've never dated a cougar but have been asked out by one at work. Actually two. One I may go out with, the other looks good but is a little too old and I don't need the gossip mill turning, especially when there's alot of hotter, younger women working there. If I was ever turned down by one I'd just go on with my life. No big deal. People will continue to judge and label others. To me they seem like people who had the "princess" "I'm going to get a rich guy to make my friends jealous etc." mentality and when later in life that pipe dream came crashing down they become these new liberated, acting "twenty something's". They are only fooling themselves.

Trust me guys, I work at a pool and all I see is women in their 30s and 40s in tiny swim suits. So they may look good in carefully fitted clothes but once they strip down, yuk....

Why would I want a women who is an older, fatter and looser version of her past self.

Some guys may like that but im going to pass.

Depends on the context. If she was really good looking, then I'd probably give her a chance.

And you do have to admire a woman who can keep an attractive figure as she gets older.

But, if she didn't meet my standards, no way! But if the price was right...
