There's this impression that dance clubs and the like are "meat markets", places where people go to hook up and have sex.
I'm not so sure that this is the case anymore...especially in common urban areas. I see so many bachelorette parties, birthday parties, girls' nights out, etc etc....that I don't get the impression at ALL that women are out to hook up.
Go to a tourist city like Vegas, or even a beach resort, and it's a lot easier to find women looking for men to "hook up" with. Go to your average city, and it seems like clubs are just party-places for groups of women...not really an ideal hook-up spot at all. Sure you can talk to the girls, but they'll only hang 5-10 minutes at best before their friends pull them away. And don't even TRY to dance with them...you'll get cut off by one c*ckbl*cker or another.
Is the "meat-market" a myth?
