Went last weekend with some friends to some bars. One chick I was with is a lesbian. It was 4 of us 2 guys 2 girls. Anyway me and the Lesbian gaming up chicks and it was crazy how much attention she was getting...thing that messed with my mind is her game was not that tight. One of the girls we were gaming was being checked out at the bar by other non dyke like chicks....just regular girls giving those lusting eyes...and some of them were with dudes to. This even happened in the other bars we went to girls checking out other women, I wasn't mad I was just shocked by how so many seemingly straight girls were secretly checking out other women. I pulled 2 numbers that night one from a hb 5 and a hb 6 (I don't lie about that lol) You think more people (women) turning gay?

Homosexuality in many ways is becoming more accepted and subtly being promoted in media and in our culture. Over 20 years ago, a male model would have been a laughing stock in this world but now you have male models that make a high salary and are actually respected. I like to make an example about chest hair, decades ago we would have accepted it as a "manly" sort of thing but now it is seen as gross. Women in general are starting to prefer men that are more feminine and "pretty" in appearance as opposed to the masculine bodybuilder types, just what I see from my own eyes. I believe it is due to women gaining more power in academics, politics, and the socioeconomic realm which means they don't have to rely as much on providers and guys to take care of them. Now you have women who can value looks more rather than going for the guy with a stable career because women are making enough to get by themselves.

As for women, it is due to the moral decline in society. Media is starting to promote lesbian behavior in mainstream movies which revolve around college life and events involving young adults. The rise of the internet has also made it easier for people to break out of their bubble which they might be in by connecting with various personalities worldwide.

Homosexuality is definitely on the rise as it is now being accepted and even promoted as "normal" behaviour. Many people mistakenly believe that homosexuality is 100% biologically determined (you are either born straight or gay). This is an outdated and mistaken belief. Although biology plays a role, social factors are also important.

A person who grows up in an environment where he's exposed to homosexuality is much more likely to become gay or bisexual himself. Look at ancient Greece and Rome, for example. Nearly all Romans and Greeks were gay or bisexual. Male prostitution, which is still quite rare today, was widespread in antiquity. Ancient Romans didn't even have such concepts as "heterosexual" and "homosexual". It was pretty much expected for Roman men to bang other men. And Spartan soldiers were actually encouraged to form homosexual relationships with each other in order to increase their motivation to fight (It was thought that one would be more likely to fight to the death rather than flee if his bvtt buddy's life was on the line).

So to answer the original question, yes, more people are becoming gay. The fact that fewer people are choosing to have kids further accelerates this process.

Here's the way I see it...

I honestly believe that some people are "born gay", except I'd like to refer to it as a "genetic defect". Humans who are "genetically defective" shouldn't procreate; in other words, natural selection should weed out the defective humans.

I also believe that the amount of gay men and gay women should be about the same, given that the frequency of this genetic defect shouldn't be greater for either sex. However, you see a lot more women who are bi-sexual and gay than men. The reason for this is society's acceptance of gays, and because women are attracted to drama. Women are generally full of drama, hence the attraction to other females.

As far as bisexuality goes, I believe that is solely rooted in upbringing and society's influence. If a boy is raised by his single mother and is always around girls who play with barbies, he's going to be "confused" about his sexuality.

I have found consistently across the internet(Liberal and Conservative sources) that approximately 3.5% of the population identify as gay, about half of those being bisexual. 96.6% claim to be straight. 8% have engaged in same sex relations and 11% admit to having same-sex attraction.
