Approach Journal Forums

I think that doing approahces and keeping a journal of them like Pugsley did is the best way to improve your game.

I think if there was a forum for this, more people would try it, and the action of getting out there and doing something is better than all the theories in the world.

These are special "attention wh*re" diaries. Basically, it's the same as a regular diary, except that instead of writing down what ACTUALLY happens, you write down what you WISH had happened, and then everyone comes and tells you how cool your hypothetical self would hypothetically be.

I understand sometimes they can come off as holier than thou...but the fact of the matter is these questions are not new. You may think "Hmmm here's a new idea" but in fact it was asked last week. It's the same suggestions over and over and they even POSTED a thread on the suggestions that always happen AND YOU STILL DON'T READ IT! What does that say?

Have you been to the forums that have massive amounts of forums? It ends up with like 10-30 people in each forum and you get less and less useful insight because the people who read it are diminishing.

That is the same reason people also get pissed off when the same question comes up in other forums...If people would bother reading other posts or *my god!* "searching," things would get a LOT better.

I realize this. Believe me, I do. But that wasn't the point of what I was saying.

My point was, (altough I did mention the posts, it wasn't supposed to be the key point) that the mods are supposed to keep the forums in check right? But do they really need to insult people while they do that? Vincent even said to me "Who are you again?" was it necessary? Yes because I attacked him, but for the people who don't say anything other then their "suggestions/feedback" and dont realize the search option, they still don't have to have the same ******* attitude to them. A simple, search for it, is appropriate.

Do you not realize that there is nothing stopping you from posting reports of approaches? Lot's of people have done that and still do that. It does not require an entire forum dedicated to the idea of making a "journal" out of these.
