It has been said that we are our own worst critic. We can definitely see this idea being played out in the female universe.
Just about everyone knows an HB9 that loves to fish for compliments-- eg: "I'm so ugly!"

For many people and for me, approaching HB8s on up is a monumental exercise of courage.
Now, this is going to sound wacky at first, but bear with me...

Imagine yourself as a woman (dangerous I know :D)--with all of the insecurities and the emotional dependency of a woman.
Wouldn't you be extremely nervous around an attractive man?
Ok, you can stop being a woman now ;).

My point is this: If women aren't opening up to you right away, and they play coy, and seem distant-- they MAY just be SHY because *ta da* YOU ARE SEXY.

Right now, if you are thinking "No, I'm ugly, average at best" stop.
Even if people have insulted your appearance, it means NOTHING in the big picture. It is ALL SUBJECTIVE. It's not a FACT that you are unattractive. It is ONE person's opinion-- an opinion, no less, reflecting insecurity in themselves.

BELIEVE BELIEVE BELIEVE
That you can put Tom Cruise in his place. Brad Pitt-- he better get the fvck out of dodge. You are the suavest mofo in the land and the girls are too shy to open up right away because they are intimidated by your man-prettiness :).

The purpose of this belief? Eliminating a gigantic road-block to "becoming the great catch." -Pook
"That which you think, you shall become." -Pook

nice theory

Your theory does definitely sound good, and to me it would seem to be one of the many hundred, make that thousand or million of reasons why a girl might act in any particular way, in any given time.

I do have to say that attractiveness, in my opionion, comes in the way you present yourself from the inside. what the? I confused myself! hehe ;p

all I mean is that if you have the right attitude it shows, and that can make someone very attractive, sexy or whatever. and the opposite is true, a bad attitude makes you very ugly.

Hey I slept with a larger girl before, she was like 5'5 160cm and 130lb 55-60kg, but man was she cute, she was always smiling, had a bright and bubbly attitude, I definitely had fun with her!

so yeah, Im off the point now hey? anyway my 2 cents.

Hear, hear! I 100% agree with that. Until a few years ago, I'd always considered myself ugly because I'd always gotten very little attention from the ladies. I thought the only thing I had going for me was that I was a Super Nice Guy, and that's the only reason some (the non-superficial ones) even talked to me. Turns out I'm OK in the looks departement, a bit above average even. What was holding me back: massive shyness and insecurity. Don't let your own mind mess up your life...

Just had to put in my 2¢ in about this...
I'm hoping that your metric figures are the correct ones, because... 160cm is actually 5'3", not 5'5". My latest ex is 157cm (5'2") and about 57kg (126lbs), and yes, she's a little chubby. Cute, but still chubby. My ex-wife is 164cm (5'41/2") and hovered around 58kg (128lbs) while we were together. No way was she "larger", quite average, bordering on slim (86B-66-91, 34B-26-36 for you poor Americans :D ). Though she did have large bones, and an athletic build. So as Duke said, "It is ALL SUBJECTIVE". ;)

Good post! My 0.04c

I'm beginning to think that Djing 8-9's is no harder than Djing 6-7s. For one thing youre already motivated cos you want the grrl and for another you at least have something pretty to look at while you pimp :D

I also find that even chicks who are gagging for you (unless they're drunk or super confident) will take a few seconds to warm up to the conversation at the best of times.

That's OK, I'm from Canada, and lived in Australia for a while. I hate having to convert to those old scales too. I like teasing our southern neighbours on when they'll catch up with the rest of the world. :p It was the nerdy nit-picking side of my persona in need of expression. ;)
