Anyone try teeth whitening?

i drink a lot of coffee and i was wondering if anyone has used whitening products to get rid of yellow tint coffee drinking makes your teeth?

i think Crest whitening trays would really help us coffee drinkers out! i work with the people at Crest and the whitening trays whiten your teeth quickly and it''s only about 30 minutes a day.

you can still drink coffee after and before whenever you and still get whiter teeth, anyone think about whitening your teeth or using Crest?

I've done it and it works well. I got a free whitening kit from my dentist for signing up with them. It's worth it and can make a difference for you. Give it a shot.

Hi,
I drink way too much coffee and started to get stressed out when they weren't as white anymore. I was going to go the dentist to have him do it but it was ridiculously expensive. So I looked for forever and I finally found a kit that's just like the one the dentist uses with the mold and injection. It works amazing and fast, I could see the difference after the first one ! Just to chime in. I used CREST Whitestrips kind of expensive, but they work great. Cut out coffee and coke too. I also talked to a dentist she claims that strips are just as good pro whitening.

I don't know if the whitening products sold on the internet actually work, (no firsthand experience) but I'd say *don't* buy any of the teeth whitening products you see advertised on the internet as they get you onto a rebill program where it's very difficult (if not impossible) to cancel.

You will get charged and sent product monthly - for an example, the website posted by ignatiusmael is an affiliate site which sells a rebill product.

In fact I wouldn't be surprised if this whole thread has simply been created to send traffic through some guys affiliate link.

Did you even read it? If you want to erode your teeth you can use vinegar or other cheap acids as mouthwash.

No they don't. I haven't finished my batch of Crest White Strips Advanced seal but after 10 treatments (there are 14 total) I have noticed a nice improvement. It's not black and white, but definitely a couple shades whiter and I haven't even finished yet, so to me that's worth it.

right, but the acid is in the strawberries. how much stronger could it be then the use-at-home products?

however, I guess the fact that its mixed with baking soda probably multiplies it quite a bit anyways. just threw that link out there cause i heard of using it once. I'm not condoning it, not promoting it, just posted a link

actually, baking soda works, not just for teeth whitening but also for cavities and tooth aches, it strengthens your teeths, and also gives you a better breath. it kills the bacterias in your mouth

Teeth whitening is great, but the problem is if your teeth are stained from drinking coffee, if you keep drinking coffee they're not going to stay white very long. Tea is bad or worse.

I've also read somewhere that if you overdo the peroxides they can make your teeth darker, which is not good. I think they said you're not supposed to use them more than every six months, but I can't remember for sure.

You've read wrong. Peroxides are bleaching agents.
