I worked there. It has the best strip club in the world. Called, Mons Venus. Go there when you get a chance. http://www.monsvenus.com/join.html

With at least one university there, you're bound to have a great sex life. Better than in MIA. Traffic is alright there. It's more of a rural area, just like the rest of Florida, very nice.

I don't know how's life in there, but it must be good with all those women. I know guys who go there for work cry, because away from family, but they're afc. I liked it when I was there.

i JuST moved back from there.. actually the city next to it (sarasota) but i was there almost every other day.

The ocean is a stone throw away (about a 40 minute drive).. it's VERY, VERY Rural... at least the surrounding cities.

Cost of living isn't as bad as on the coast. It's great because it's close enough to places like Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice and other smaller cities to where if there is something jumpin in another city, you can go. Even Orlando isn't THAT far away.

Tampa has a good night life, although I prefer parting on the coast (more tourist, more laid back.. and it's the ocean) there's always something to do... you could make a worse decision

I lived there 7 years.

Much of the area is ghetto. Look at the street map - if the streets are on a grid, it's ghetto. The nicer areas are North Tampa, Tampa Palms, Carrolwood, or anything on the water. I lived in Temple Terrace, next to USF, which is a great place to meet college students; USF is huge.

Ybor (pronounced ee-bore) City is the main strip of bars, the new Channelside district is popular as well. Don't venture far off the main drag at Ybor, it's in the ghetto, too.

Clearwater beach, across the bay, is the party beach. My favorite beach was Sarasota, clean and no crowds.

clearwater is the sh!t.

that's why I lived in Sarasota... actually lived on Siesta Keys IN sarasota which is a double bonus because I could walk outside and be on the ocean and by about 6-7 bars/clubs. might be the best beach in america as far as cleaness

Anna Maria Island isn't bad either

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

i had an ex who lived in sarasota after she moved... i've been there many times and yeah its a touristy little town but siesta beach was amazing. the sand is white and natural, not like most beaches with imported nasty sand.

isn't Siesta Keys the ****?

I had to get away from arkansas, so I moved down there for about 6 months.. I lived right smack dab on ocean Blvd in an apartment complex.. I knew I wsn't going to be there long, I just knew I didn't want to be in arkansas. every night was party night.

SKOB is my fav... until you actually order their damn food. better stick with hamburgers, their food is pathetic, but great drinks and hot waitresses that like to be hit on.

I will tell you another place.. if you feel like driving a bit, get on 41, go south down to Venice and hit up sharkys. it's worth the drive. the crowd isn't as young the food is unreal and you are literary ON THE BEACH, not in a building that happens to have a beach behind it. Eating, listening to sup par regaee music and watching the sunset over the ocean.... can't beat it. usually some hot ass down there as well

you know what's funny? I never went fishing in Siesta Keys... to busy looking at the ass on the beach.

I did go down to Punta Gora (which has to be the lamest city in the US) and the Peace River (?) which lead into the gulf and went fishing down there... south Florida has to have some of the best fishing on earth.

If there was a major horse track down there, I probably would have hung my tact down there instead of SoCal.. it's sure as hell cheaper.

the odd thing i always found about sarasota was some parts were really ghetto-ish and lots of poor people that lived there. and on the other part of town it was super nice and up-scaled. just driving a couple minutes around and the scenery entirely changed. i never fished there either, but i remember there being a park surrounded by a dock full of boats.

you are talking about Maria Jacks'... I've had plenty o good nights there as well. It's a good night hangout with GREAT food and live music if you park there and hang a quick left there is one of the better night hangouts int he city hidden from everyone. Perfect for a date

maria jacks has a very high end cliente.. look at the parking lot when you pull up. That was the first place I stopped when I got off the plane, by default... you really can't miss it.

yeah I know what you are talking about though man... within 30 seconds your re in hood ville USA and litrearly right across the street you have some of the most ritziest houses in the country..don't go TOO far up 41 however, you don't want any part of bradenton, trust me

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.
