Just out of curosity, has anyone else seen First Sammari run? The two year old Colt?

Is it just me, or is he the best damn 2 year Old you have ever seen?

He does have impeccable bloodlines, he's the size of a 5 year old, and his jockey says he is still "very green", yet only his last race has been somewhat close, and even that wasn't a question of who was going to win.

I don't see another 2 year old that will be able to give him a run for the money in the KD next year... considering most if not all of the 2 year olds have broke their maidens by now.

I like Bro Lo, but he is a sprinter.. the next Lost in the Fog, maybe even better.

Dr Pleasure is nice, but hasn't faced any of what I consider G1 Quality horses yet.

Henny Hughes, unless he imporves, will contiune to be First Sammeri's *****.. he is always the 2nd best horse in the field, but it's always a clear 2nd:(

I like Socerer's Stone... I don't like his connections however...

well I can tell you in general a co uple of things off the top of my head...

* There is no way in hell Lost in the Fog looses the BC Sprint next saturday. Unless he comes up injuried in the next week or something along thoose lines.

Even though that is my opinion, and when I have strong opinions I am usually right, if you want to try to make some money off of that race... there are only two horses in that field with a remote chance in hell of beating Lost in the Fog, and really only one I will put my money on.. Pomeroy.

Pomeroy is an older horse that rumped in his last G1 win and is improving.

As good as lost in the fog is, and I doubt he looses, if Pomeroy is anything close to 8 to 1, I have no qualms about putting large money on him.

Roman Ruler int hat race will be heavily bet because well.. he's roman ruler, but won't do jack ****... horse isn't bred to go 6F with the best in the world, he's bred to go 9-10 Furlongs, but he isn't as good as the other 9-10 Furlong horses, which puts his trainer in a tough spot.

High Fly is an interesting name... was in the Kentucky Derby, but never was really bred to go long distances.. this actually s uits him more to his liking... But he hasn't ever seen a field of sprinters like this, and has never been changllened for the lead, a nd proved in his races he isn't crap if he can't get the lead, and I can safely assume he isn't getting the lead in this race.

Let's see... BC Juvenile.. First Sammeri, nough said... If Bro Lo was in this race I would play him because he is a front runner and there is no early speed in this race, and hope he can hold off (which happens very often).

Whatever you do, don't bet Ashado in the Distaff... too inconsitant... that's a pretty even field... If I am not mistaken, Society Selection won this exact same race last year... which had Ashado in it. Hasn't had a bad year this year, would probably go again, but I would have to look at her workouts.

BC Mile Turf... I love Turf races, they are so much more exciting than Dirt Races... Odds on money is Leroidesanimaux and for great reason... won 8 straight, but I never bet favoriates in Turf Races...

See, Turf Races are soo much more different then Dirt races.. In Dirt Races you have a think called PACE, which is pretty important... IN Turf Races, all the orses litearly jog, if that, to the Stretch and then it's a sprint to the finish line.

I usually have a rule of thumb... Turf=European... however Singletary won this race last year, and is back and better than ever.. If Singletary is anythig higher than 5 to 1, you have to put money down.. At the same time if leroidesanimaux is anything near 3 to 1, you have to put money down, witih perference to the latter.

BTW, don' ever play exacts in turf races, you are asking to get your ass handed to you.

BC Turf... if Shakespeare is anything near his 5 to 1 morning line odds, ,don't hesitate to drop money on him.. very impressive horse that won... I forgot what G1 Turf race last month, but beat alot of the horses, well not alot, but about 5, horses in this race, and did it coming off a terrible workout. hasn't lost on turf, and is trained by my FAv trainer of all time, William Mott.

I like powerscourt as well, but I think Shakespeare is just the better horse... BTW, a little known fact, is powerscourt is the hrose that threw jockey Gary Stephens off of him in a G1 Race 2 years ago and almost killed him.

the race next saturday that has the most little in doubt, but yet everyone is making the biggest fuss over is the Classic.

There is no way in hell Saint Liam looses that race. He faced Tougher compitition earlier this year and rumped.. 3 times. The only horses that would have given him a run for his money were Roses in May (retired) and the only horse I think that would have beaten him was Ghostzapper (retired) who won this race last year.

That is about as sure of a bet as you can get, hasn't lost a race all year, not even close.. the horse that has the "best chance" againt him is Rock Hard Ten, who he demolished in Kentucky in June.

All of that is just coming off of me knowing hte horses off the top of my head.. if there is any specefic race you want me to look at (odds are I already have anyway), just let me know

what I really need is a good trifect pick....I think I'll just PM you so we don't clutter the message board, If I can pick up the ins and outs of horse betting to complement my hocky picks I won't have to work another day of my life.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
