Some crazy sh*t happened last night.

So I was needing to go to a show my friend was playing downtown and I was at some small party hanging out with a bunch of ppl I didnt know. Well some girl decided to be generous and she actually let me borrow her car. yeah dumb on her part, But the bar he was playing at was like 5 minutes away. well we get there and park in a lot that is pay parking. So I pay the machine and I get 2 hours on that ****. Well after the show was done, I found that the car got towed, the tow ppl said I was there longer than 2 hours...ahh
They want 100 dollars and I quite frankly dont have that amount of money and dont really know anyone who would be willing to lend me 100 bucks. So I dont know what to do and I the girl is threatening to call the cops on me...

anyone know what I should do?

the obvious thing is to pay the 100 bucks BUT I simply cant do it at this present moment as I dont get paid till like next week. but I dont want to go to jail. (I was driving on a suspended license.)

She calls police, they get your name one way or the other, and they run you. You know what happens after that.

What you should do is think about how to get that money now. Because the longer you wait, the more it will become.

How people get into sh1t. They start small, and get deeper into it. You started with suspended license, and you ended up DWI on a friends car. It becomes more serious when law gets involved.

It's very simple. You either take responsibility, or you don't. It's not just this incident, it's everything else in your life from this point on. There is a lot of people in prison who don't know how to take responsibility for them selves. You think you're far off from going to one of those places? I think you're not.

It's better if you get money yourself today. Else, call the girl, tell her you fvcked up and you will do everything you could to make it right. Don't tell her you're sorry, tell her this happened, and the only think I can do is make it right. Tell her your situation in two sentances and ask if she would consider taking a signed statement from you promising to pay her money in exchange for paying for that car now. If possible, record the conversation on tape.

But it's way better if you do it yourself without her involved. She might call police after that, better if you do this in person. Do you know anybody who seen or hear you that she lend you the car? If so, talk to them now, get their contact info.

have a buddy pay for it... or have her... tell them you'll pay them 50% interest when you get paid.

Talk to the girl and tell her that you don't get paid until next week. Tell her that you want to be responsible for it but you can't give her money that you don't have. Ask her if you can write out a contract promising to pay her the $100 by a certain date, sign it and have someone witness it.

While she could call the cops on you...it's unlikely they will do anything. She lent you the car and you didn't get pulled over with it. They will have no clue who parked the car there...and you didn't get pulled over or anything. Basically, it will be her word against yours. There is no proof that you actually drove the car, either. If she reports it and something sticks....find a friend who will tell the police that they were with you and was the one to drive...make sure they have a valid license. Frankly, it's unlikely that anything will come of it legally...but you do need to pay the towing cost just as quickly as you possibly can. Go pawn some of your sh*t to get the money if you have to.

I'm pretty positive that nothing could happen to you but don't take my word for it. If I was you though I would pay it or tell her you will pay her back. The money will just become more and more. You won't get in trouble if you don't but thats just messed up if you don't. What will the cops do to you? Nothing. You didn't get pulled over it's too late and it's her car doesn't matter if you were driving it.
