anybody speaks arabic? i need some help

If anybody here can read the "chat arabic" (the arabic usually used in chatting over the internet or text messaging, where latin letters and roman numbers are used together to form arabic words), please let me know because i have a short text i would like to find a translation for.

It's an email some dude sent to my girlfriend before i started going out with her, and i recognize some words in it that might be compromising, so i am very curious to see what this guy is saying and if there was something between her and him at that moment.

not really arabic. it is lebanese...which is a very different dialect from standard arabic. lots of french and english is used in lebanese (even in this little chat). i would help you out, but i know better than to get involved in this kind of thing.

I understand you do not wanna interfere since this translation could have some impact on my relationship, but think of it this way: you could do me a favor in case there's compromising stuff in there and you could save me from getting too engaged with someone i should not be with.

Also, that email was from a time when she was single, so no matter how bad it is, i guess it doesnt matter that much because she was free to flirt with whoever she wanted.

Now tell me at least this. I have a short email the same guy sent her, AFTER i started dating her. Is the message/intention any different from the first one i posted?

You think you could help me? This is starting to look like a detective job...
The worst thing would be if the person who wrote those messages to my gf is not even a guy, or is someone from her family Cuz seriously, i only assumed it was some guy because of a few clues i found here and there.

By getting a translation for those emails i could probably decide who the person is and what his/her intentions were.

Uhm, i speak english with my girlfriend...

But maybe you mean i should only have relationships with women that ONLY speak the languages i speak? Do you even want me to answer to that claim?


And in answer to Shezz, arabic IS written like you imagine it, but the problem is that normal computer keyboards cannot reproduce the arabic alphabet unless you use special programs which apparently are pretty hard to use and can cause headaches, so what people did instead was to adapt the arabic language to the latin keyboards, giving birth to what u just saw in my first post. The numbers are used to represent special sounds or letters i think, allowing them to express whatever they want to say. Quite clever, but i dont know how easy it is to write like that and to understand it.

Flying shark, I highly doubt anyone on here that is able to help you, will. Something I've noticed, and I agree with, is that people around here are extremely opposed to snooping around/spying in order to catch a girlfriend in the wrong, even cheating. If you want some help, you're probably gonna have to go outside the sosuave community.
