Anybody ever have this?

Ok it starts with a gradual elevation of attraction.

Theres that one date/hook up.

After that everytime you see each other its all awkward? For no apparent reason too (night before went pretty normal)?

Are there any ways to stop that from happening or some way to break the ice?

There are lots of reasons why it could happen.

1. You develop oneitis for the chick/she develops oneitis for you.
2. You literally "got lucky" - fool's mate led to the hookup and one of you (probably she) is ashamed.
3. You projected the image of someone you're not, and now feel uncomfortable trying to fit in that role.
4. You're trying too hard.

It could be one or more of these. Do any of them sound familiar?
