I'm gonna do it on the last week of January to fix a gap in my front teeth. Anybody ever had it done and are you happy with the result? The cosmetic dentist said it'll look natural, its 2mm wide. I'm 17 and my parents can't afford braces rite now.

I'm going to get all my teeth veneered this year. While I was born with perfect teeth, years off drinking coke has eroded away the enamel making them difficult to keep white.

As for looking or feeling natural, I would go for it as I know a few people who have and while you do get the odd ones that break after eating nuts or something, generally it should give a good result.

I got my front teeth bonded my senior year of highschool (2002). And 4 and half years later they still look great. It's a great way to fix the gap without sufferring for months with braces.

Cool, I'm goin to do it. Thanx for all of yalls encouragement. My gap really don't look big at all I just wanna see how I look without the gap, my dad said I won't notice a difference but we'll see. I've been so self conciese about it when I smile that I never show my teeth. I'm gonna use crest white strips(I've never used them before though) all the way up to the procedure, so I won't get stuck with a yellow composite material. THANX guys.

I know I'm a bit late here, but I say go for it. You sound exactly like me about 3 months ago, right down to the gap and not smiling thing. I got bonding done in October. I was in and out in an hour, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

That's the thing. It's not that other people notice but if it effects your confidence then it's worth it as confidence is really what matters most, just don't get carried away because the things you worry about, other people probably don't notice.
