Well, I'm using Symantec Anti-Virus Enterprise Edition.. Not free, but no activation either, and if you know how to get it, you can use it for free.. Although illegally..

I had experience with AVG, then there is also NOD32 and Kasperski.. They measure from top to bottom like so, Kasperski, NOD32, Symantec Enterprise AntiVirus, then AVG at the bottom..

I prefer Spybot to ad-ware and that's just my professional preference.. If you choose ad-ware that's your choice I don't hate you or empose Spybot instead.. Though I recommend it more than ad-ware..

There is also Microsoft Windows Defender.. In my book it's in the very bottom of spyware/adware defending utilities.. If you have that along with ad-ware or Spybot, use only one.. I recommend spybot..

Worst anti virus you could get is Symantec Norton AntiVirus.. Professional or Personal editions, they are big and bulky and take a lot of system resources.. While the enterprise solution is light and quick..

My free anti-virus is Avast! anti-virus. I do a Adaware and Spybot check every couple of weeks, I should run them more often. I'm running Spyware Doctor which is supposed to immunize the computer against the junk out there.

All of them are the free versions.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

All those commands in shell.. How did you learn all that stuff?
I know very little (but would like to learn more). If you've used a recent Linux distribution, you'll know that you don't have to use the terminal all that often anymore. But when you need to do something specific, a search on Google will usually come up with the answers. In that department, I haven't had any problems.

If you fvck something up, boot off a live CD and ask a question on a Linux message forum. I've had to do that a couple times and was always able to fix the problem.

Experience is the only way you're going to learn. How do you think you learned Windows?

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.
