My own little thread where I can post random thoughts and insights about my programming and fitness.

I turned 23 yesterday, and have little to show for it. I'm 125kg, 175cm and labelled as OBESE. My goal before i hit 24 is to hit 90kg, and go for that no matter what.

Current stats:
- Bench: 5 x 5 110kg
- Squat: 5 x 5 110kg
- Deadlift 5x5 110kg

Areas of weakness:
- Bracing my core
- Keeping neutral spine on big lifts
- Tight hips / glutes
- Controlling my fxcking diet

Approach (of many to come):
- nSuns 5 day split, 2 days of cardio
- IF combined with low carb (22,2)
- Daily weigh ins, caloric deficits increased when weight stalled
- weekly progress on this thread

People say new year new me bs, I've been regressing backwards these last 2 years and it's time actually show some results. Let's do this.

Health/weight:
Been cooking more frequently, trying to stop going out. Current weight is 122kg. Been doing IF pretty religiously and getting some good fasting time between meals. Stomach getting smaller probably due to less carbs, and my body holding onto less water. Need to cut more carbs and get smaller.

Gym
So many questions. I don't want to seem egotistic but I may have scared some people away from my gym. Saw one of the people working with me in the centre (retail), so i say hello because I see him pretty often. Saw him twice, and never again (or his mates). I feel like i'm not matching the 'vibes' at this small gym.Which is low intensity weights or cardio. I'm going at it 90% with headphones in, heavy weights and probably an unfriendly face. Sorry dudes who are there for more social stuff, i don't got much time and need to smash my **** and go. Good news is the other gym is only 1.5km away for them to go to.

Tried Arnold pressing after a couple weeks on this program, the carry over is intense. I was doing 3x8 22.5kg, and am now doing 3x5 32.5kg an arm. Deadlift and Squats have no lower back pain after finally honing in on my weakness of keeping a neutral spine and bracing correctly. The numbers will finally shoot back to where they were before injury.

Posture note:
- Back of head, back of scapula and bum all inline for perfect posture. Working on it.
- Keeping ass clenched/tucked will position the weight correctly on areas worked, instead of loading the lower back.
