Ive taken as much as 30 grams of creatine a day.... You should put about 8-10 pds of water weight on with taking creatine assuming you are not currently on another muscle volumizer at this moment.

you're supposed to do 5 grams (or more depending on weight) AFTER your workout. You won't gain anything more by taking it before cus I guess it doesn't go to the muscles that quickly for some reason.

there is so much bs on this issue, creatine is a thing where it works differently for every person, and it may not even work for you.

you can take it 1ce a day 5-8 g.

you can take it throughout the day with 1.5 grams at a time

you can take half pre work out and half post work out.

you can take some when you wake up and some before bed

ive tried them all, all with great effects, i put on usually 12-20 lbs a cycle.dont take the creatine on its own, get some dextrose or get a transport creatine.

Creatine gives you superficial mass gains. You'll deflate in a month if you stop taking it.

Creatine DOES give you less than 5% extra performance (but it seems more like a placebo) - I feel sad for the people who actually spend $20 a month on this stuff. And drinking themselves with water constantly, hahahahaha

i keep all the mass i put on after, my weight stays the same, and i end up leaner than before. yes i lose the water retention but no loss in my overall weight.

the buffered creatine, or the krealkaline creatine, came out like 6 years ago and because of its not so great performance they ditched it, and now its back in pill form. jsut stick to what works. get a mono or a cee product

Creatine is the most researched substance there is, and there are yet no CONCLUSIVE evidence either way. Besides, it's not been in circulation enough to measure its effects in the long run (ie several decades, not just a couple of years).

^ Would you recommend using creatine then? Since the long term health factors aren't known, wouldn't you agree that it's a gamble to be using creatine, when you can achieve the same results with hard work and more time?

I guess you don't eat red meat then? Because people have been getting plenty of creatine from that naturally. Supplimenting with creatine works the same way people suppliment with vitamins - you use whatever you don't already get from your regular diet. You can also overdose on some vitamins, so don't think "more is better."

Your body produces creatine. Go figure.
