Anyone here tried animal pak/stack, is it worth the price ?? A friend is hooking me up with stack 2, any thoughts about this ??

Btw I weigh 170 pounds 10% bodyfat and am 6 foot tall, so would this help gain mass or not ? I'm on a 6 meal plan with whey and other crap lol

ok....

here's where you start:

1.Read the Dj bible segment on health and fitness. There are only 3 articles. They outline proper diets and etc...

2. You might want to look into "Westside for skinny bastards" amde by a strength coach by the name of Joe Defranco. It's free and you can get it at his site.

3. Got to gym.

Bruce, if you're not going to answer the man's question, don't bother posting.

I've tried animal stack, it definitely works. Unfortunately, you'll probably lose half your gains once you get off of it. The trick, I've found, is once you get off a supplement that increases muscle mass quicker than being done naturally, you need to immediately either stick with the diet you have if you're on a 3500+ calorie bulking diet, or begin a bulking diet. Seeing that you're 22, and i dont know how old you are, you should be taking 2 grams of protein per lb of body weight immediately when you get off of it b/c im assuming you're at least 150 lbs.

My recommendations are if you are getting hooked up w/ this for a reduced price, its worth the buy. If you are paying full price, screw it, there's plenty of better supplements on teh market.

All it is basically, is just a multivitamin. But hey, if you wanna spend money on sh!t supplements instead of real food do it.

definitely not like a multivitamin. But the 10 or so pills per day you have to take certainly does suck. Also, the pills do look like multivitamins so i can see where u'd say that.

Wiseman, are you the same guy who's recommending 2 grams of protein per lb bodyweight on this thread and yet on another you're telling people that too much protein is bad and not to take in 80g at one sitting?

typical, try to get hooked up on cut-price red meat. it'll do more for you.

Alex, with every post you are giving me more reason to believe that you and I are the only people on this forum who understand proper diet & training.

there's others who know what they're doing.. EFFORT for example, manuva, A-Unit, semag, mindovermatter (now that he's seen the light re protein consumption). But the majority are clueless I'm afraid.

They're out looking for that magic routine or wonder supplement to make them 'huge while retaining a chiselled sixpack' or don't eat because 'they're afraid of getting too big' - whereas they have no idea how much work and food it takes to even grow a pound of muscle (and think they can achieve it with egg whites and tuna sandwiches), and they're worrying about turning into Ronnie Coleman overnight.

They overanalyse stuff to **** - "should I do this that or this", go strictly by studies and not experience and don't realise that there's only one way to gain muscle, and that's progressively forcing the muscles to adapt through bigger training loads at a volume they can recover from, and feeding their strength gains with protein and calories to translate them into muscle gains.

I can't fault their enthusiasm or determination (most anyway) but seriously, I only wish I could've had someone halfway experienced to point me in the right direction when I started. Instead I did whatever my friend was doing (a ripped mesomorph from birth) in the hope I'd turn out like him.

Why are you worried about supplements when you're so light?

The only thing you should be worried about is: diet, sleep, training

Animal Stack isn't going to help as much as a great diet and lifting routine. It can't. It won't. It's not magic.
