I was reading this except from the Vishnu Purana, and the part about how women will act in the Dark Age:

http://www.juliusevola.net/excerpts/On_the_Dark_Age.html
The women will pay no attention to the commands of their husbands or parents.... They will be selfish, abject and slatternly; they will be scolds and liars; they will be indecent and immoral in their conduct and will ever attach themselves to dissolute men....
Talk about hitting the nail on the head!

Basically all sacred sources agree about certain outcomes in certain situations.

I'm afraid this whole world is just repeating itself over and over again with some global war every few millennia to reset it back to stone age.

(Srimad-Bhagavatam (2.7)
With regard to human relationships, Markandeya's discourse says:

  • Avarice and wrath will be common. Humans will openly display animosity towards each other. Ignorance of dharma will occur.
  • People will have thoughts of murder with no justification and will see nothing wrong in that.
  • Lust will be viewed as socially acceptable and sexual intercourse will be seen as the central requirement of life.
  • Sin will increase exponentially, while virtue will fade and cease to flourish.
  • People will take vows and break them soon after.
  • People will become addicted to intoxicating drinks and drugs.
  • Teachers will no longer be respected and their students will attempt to injure them. Their teachings will be insulted, and followers of Kama will wrest control of the mind from all human beings.
  • Brahmans will not be learned or honored,Kshatriya (Warriors) will not be brave, Vaishyas(Merchants) will not be just in their dealings.
