So today at baseball training we were working extremely hard working out and as the work outs progressed people became tired and fatigued making many place their hands on their knees. This was followed by getting chewed out by the coach. He yelled "stand up! When you stand up you get more oxygen to your lungs it will be better for you. Not only that, when you do that it makes you look weak and defeated. When you're standing on the mound and you look defeated in a game the other team will take advantage of you. Never look defeated, take control. If you believe you're in control, you will be. And if you're not confident-fake it" then a lightbulb turned on... If you keep getting rejected by girls, and you get down about it you're only hurting yourself. Take control of the situation and your emotions and hold your head high. Women will see this and think.. That guy must have his **** together. You might take a blow on the inside and feel like trash but if you bounce back it will take them by surprise. Personally I can relate these two things (pitching and women) perfectly. You throw a pitch (approach a girl) and you aim for the strike zone (aim to start a conversation) if you miss, there is always another pitch to be thrown. If they take that pitch and destroy it for a homer, there is always another batter to face. Personally when someone hits a homerun on me (baseball-wise) I smile, say ouch, take a deep breath and it's on to the next one. And now that i think of it i may just do this the next time i get rejected. But I feel like this post was kind of all over the place but it's something to think about. There are analogies to be made everywhere between these two subjects I'm just too lazy to spell them all out. Give me some feedback on what you think also. Oh and Im pretty new to creating threads and Proposing ideas so feel free to give you're own opinions, I'm eager to hear.

As Jaedon said, contrary to baseball, you and the girl are on the same team.

In general to making posts, the best advice is to space it out!

Personally, I faked it till i made it, but it didn't really work in practice. Girls spot it and you keep sabotaging yourself cause you think you can't do it. You can, then you get confident.

People are disagreeing, but what matters is that it helped you. I don't give a damn about baseball, so this analogy doesn't mean anything to me. But I have little epiphanies like that all the time.
