Gentlemen,

I was thinking of creating an accountability or mastermind group where we could share goals and hold each other accountable. I have read of this topic in various different self help books throughout the year.

On one hand with friends I have done this to some degree but never formally.

This doesn't just limit itself to the area of women and dating, it can also be a vehicle to discuss personal, career and financial goals.

Probably the way I'd like to do it is to setup some type of instant messaging forum that we could hold once a month or week or whatever we decide.

I have a few people that I'm interested in inviting but perhaps some others would be interested as well?

Let me know.

I am pretty clear what my career goals are for the next few months. I have some board exams going on and continue to learn this new job that i love. But every other area in my life is a bit unclear or too wide open.

Lets get focused!

Ricky,

This is a great idea! I have no idea how you can apply it to career if you dont have anything common with other's career though in terms of dating, women - it is probably the best idea that was still not implemented on the local level (i.e. without internet) for men.

Look around - there are tons of groups for women - I dont know what they do there, but certainly they help each other.
Men? Groups? Noo.... except beer and sports groups.

What do you have in mind more specifically? PM me, I'd definitely like to take part in it!

I think you'll find that there is no accountability on the internet.

So if you guys do this, I advise you to meet via phone so it is more *real*. You can do that with skype for free.

The more real your peers are, the more real the peer pressure is, the more real the results will be.

I do agree IvyLeeger.

Well I think it is a good idea to have a group to share ideas.

What do you guys think. First off I can setup a yahoo group and we can schedule a chat on yahoo messenger and possibly take it to phone at some point.

Sometime within the next week or so I'll set up a yahoo group.

At the very least I can share writings and files for ideas I have on goal setting and we can all share thoughts on them.
