if you're lost about your diet and carbs and fat and protein and want to lean out big time then go and purchase it. its like 10 bucks but has great info on everthing you need

lotsa great info and better than "tips" they have in Mascle and Fitness magazine

just heads up

I think I've seen ads for that book. I was thinking about purchasing it, too. Need a better core workout, my lower abs are lagging. Have you read it? If so, how practical do the excercises (If there are any) seem?

"Bulletproof Abs" by Pavel Tsatsouline is, in my opinion, the best abs book on the market. Overpriced but you can get it in ebook form on file-sharing programs. It'll tell you things like there are no such thing as lower abs.

Actually, any anatomy textbook will tell you there's no such thing as "lower abs".

There are such a thing as "lower abs" but its merely the lower section of the abdominal wall. So in essence, they're right.

True, but there's no way to train one part of the muscle. Just like you couldn't train the "lower bicep".

landmines are purportedly very effective at working your obliques. luckily, obliques respond a lot better to resistance training than the stubborn rectus abdominus (the "six-pack"), so you won't have to work them all that hard.

in fact, a lot of pro BBers seldom work their obliques directly because of their tendency to get out of proportion (responding too well to hypertrophy).

Could you please explain how i should go about doing landmines? Reason i'm interested is because my obliques are quite weak at the moment and they do very little to protect my soft-centre from punches in boxing.
